  1. @xlurkr No I hadn't done that but have done so now. The FP300 updated its firmware and then got to a point where in the Aqara app it wanted to connect to a hub. I don't have one so I went to the EISY Admin Console and added the device again through the Zigbee/Add a Zigbee Device menu. It completed and I have these 3 devices shown in my Network. No idea why the first one shows disabled. 2nd and 3rd devices (Main and Weather) show the temperature and humidity in my office where the device is currently sitting. I see nothing that shows me how it show presence detection (motion detection?). I'm closer but not all the way there yet. Do I need an Aqara hub in my network? I wanted to use this as a motion sensor because of its compact size. Thoughts?
  2. I tried adding the FP300 to my EISY through the Zigbee/Add a Zigbee Device menu command. It found a device but said something about waiting for an interview process to complete. The window went away and now I have a device in my Admin console called ZB 46576.1 Main but it does not respond to motion. If I press the Query button, I get a Request Failed popup. I'm clearly out of my league here. I guess I need to read more on Thread/Matter/Zigbee. Any pointers would be apppreciated.
  3. Should I be use this new Aqara FP300 motion sensor that supports Thread & Zigbee with my EISY and ZMatter USB device? I have not done much with Zwave/Zigbee/Thread and I’m trying to bench out from INSTEON a bit. Thoughts?
  4. I just added 2 dimmer switches on a 3-way circuit which work fine. But why does DR Table A show up 3 times?
  5. @MrBill is that something you made or bought? I assume the devices on the ends are simple connects for the wires on the INSTEON switches - correct?
  6. Is there a way to create a test device that I can connect an INSTEON switch wiring to so that I can plug it in to simulate being installed and then be able to see it the admin console?
  7. I just read the difference and decided not to mix and not to use the older 2476D’s either. Those just need to be retired. I will be looking for sales on 2477D’s or if someone has a good recommendation on Z-wave switches to replace standard 3-way switches, I’m all ears. Thanks!
  8. I only have 1 2477D left but have several 2476D's. Can I mix these two or should I use two 2476D's?
  9. I pulled a 2477D INSTEON Dimmer switch from my box of unused devices to add it to my condo and the address label is unreadable. How do I add this to my EISY if I do not know the device's address?
  10. Thanks for the info but if this is what I have to do to get my EISY back online, I may be getting out of the EISY automation world. My EISY (and ISY-994 before) worked flawlessly and was easy to administrate. This is getting way too complicated for the average non-techie person. Just FYI - Michel responded to my ticket and wanted me to connect an HDMI monitor (which I have) and a USB keyboard (which I don't have) to my EISY take a picture of the last things shown on the screen when I tried to boot it up. I responded I don't have a keyboard. I use a wireless bluetooth keyboard on my Mac. So now I'm waiting to hear what my next step might be.
  11. @DennisC OK I just did.
  12. @larryllix I did read it but it's beyond my capabilities. I have no idea how to replace the SSD and reflash it or whatever the term is. I am an average user. No clue how do what you suggest.
  13. How would it bricked if I did EXACTLY what the instructions said to do???
  14. Is a factory reset the next step? I have a backup I took right before I did the Upgrade Packages.
