uninstalled java and reinstalled. downloaded the launcher file, and i get a screen that says "select an app to open this .jnlp file" Java (TM) web launcher Word Javaws i picked the "Java (TM) web lancher. and it keeps going back to the Select an app window

My Launcher shortcut on my laptop wont work anymore. it says "the item 'javaws.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcutd wil no longer work properly. the shortcut on my desktop computer still works.

Hi All We are consdering changing from Comcast Xfinity to Direct TV or Dish Network for our Tv. I have the ISY 994i pro, connected to our wfi router and MobiLinc Connect. Direct TV and Dish Network would also need to be connected to the wfi router. Is anyone using Direct TV or Dish Network connected to a router? Are there any problems or conflicts with the ISY and Direct or Dish receivers connected to the router?? Thanks for any information anyone has Steve

Thanks LeeG, it never finished on the screen. I closed the program. When I reopened the Admin C and everything worked and shows current status So I don't know if it was my laptop that was stuck or what. But all is good. Thanks again

Hi Ok I have my new PLM. I followed the instructions for restoring the PLM. It has been going for over an hour. There are all the green write squares and one that is writing (which and been writing for 40 minutes) There was a BUSY square with the progress on it. it has since finished. however the green squares and the Writing square are still there. I have never done this before and am not sure how long the process is. I have a access point that as been blinking but most of the appliance module are not. Any advice??

Thanks LeeG, I appreciate your help. The new PLM was ordered today so it will be a few days before and can replace it. It sounds like the PLM failure is common, I have read reviews on the Smarthome site. I guess I was lucky as mine has lasted close to 3 years. Thanks Steve

Hi Apparently my PLM has died. I have a new one coming. I am using a ISY 994i pro and was wondering what is the proper procedure for replacing it? Do I need to delete the old one even though it has died? Thanks for any advise you can give me. Steve

Hi I have a question on updating a scene a my 8 key keypadlinc. I have a button "Guests" that dims the family room can lighting. I recently changed over the bulbs to LED's and needed to change the dim levels on the scene. It was my understanding that when a scene was changed that it updated any buttons that the scene was associated with. Am I wrong in that assumption? (I have a 994i series system) If I activate the scene from any other place, Administrative console, or Mobilinc it uses the new settings. But the Keypad doesn't. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated ..

Hi I would like to get an Insteon compatible Thermostat. I have a ISY 944i Pro system. I was wondering which is the best one out there. My current thermostat is from the 90's and works ok, but would like to control it thru the ISY and Mobilinc and my cell phone. Any advice and comments would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

Thanks All. To Brian, we purchased Par 16 LED bulbs (TCP is the brand) from 1000bulbs.com. To Haroldunger, I believe that my 2476's are probably older than 2 years old. The set of lights that are experiencing the most problems has a Switchlinc and a Keypadlinc. I am using a 994i pro isy for my system. I have 2 other sets of can lights with Switchlincs that seem to be working ok as long as I adjust the ramp rate back to 0. Thanks again for all the help!

Hi I have 3 different Switchlincs (2476) and 1 Keypadlinc and recently purchased Led Par 16 bulbs to replace halogen bulbs. I had to change the ramp rates back to 0 because the would flash and not come on properly. However on of the of the group of lights still want to flash. Does anyone else have LED's? Not sure if there is a minimum voltage for the Swithchlincs? Or if the new version 2477 Dual Band Switchlinc are more compatible with LED bulbs? Any advice that can be given would be much appreciated.

Question???? I have Mobilinc Pro and am able to connect over 3g! Every 7 to 10 days I have to disable and enable the internet on the Admin console on my ISY, then every thing connects on the 3g for another 7 to 10 days.. Anyone else having this problem? If so is there a solution to the problem?? Any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I am still very new to my ISY system, I want to use a keypad in the bathroom to control the exhaust fan. I would like to use the on/off buttons to control it. I would like to use the other 4 buttons to either A) turn on the fan for 15min and then off // or just push the button and have the fan go off in 15min. Are either on of these possible??????? and then program the other 3 buttons for other off times like 30min, 1hr etc.

Hi, In my travels here on this forum, I have accuired a "Admin console" shortcut on my desktop. In this version it is firmware 2.8.16 and UI 3.1.13. However when I acsess the admin console through windows and the network it is only firmware 2.8.16. Not sure what I've done or if I have 2 version running? Are both versions on the ISY or is it only the one that i acsess through the network??? Thanks for any thought you might have on this!!!!

Hi All, Problem seems to be solved, I unplugged the ISY for about 1min and then plugged it in again. Mobilinc Pro connected right away on 3g and also wi fi. Has been working just as it is supposed to.

Is any one using Mobilinc on an android phone. I purchase it and everything was running fine. Then it stopped connecting via 3g. I have the correct HTTP and HTTPS addresses! and the IP address has not changed. It just stopped connecting. I can however still connect via wi fi.

Hi I want to have a program turn on and off each day, say between 1/2/2012 and 2/15/2012! Not sure how to do it. Can any one HELP??
