When I am hooked to wi fi I can acsess the system throught the router, It is a different page than the admin console. But I can control the lights. 3g can not. So the only way I can acsess through 3g is with a 3rd party app or something like that??? Say if I am in Montana, on a computer is that a way to acsess the system???

Hi We just installed a new router, Linksys E4200. When I used the "Enable Internet Acsess" in the file dropdown it now says "Internet Enabled" In the help dropdown it now has a "HTTPPS # " So I am asumming that this router is compatible with the ISY. With our old router I could not get this far, it would alway fail. So I must be doing something right! However I still cannot acsess the Admin Console for my 3g cell phone! What do I need to do???

Hi, I want to purchase the add on x10 module. My question is: Do I have to be internet enabled to purchase and download or activate it????

Hi, I would like to access my ISY from the internet. I can access it from my cell phone at home through the network, but when I dont have the wireless on, and only the 3g I can not! I have tried to enable the internet on the file portion on the admin consonsole, but it always fails! What am I doing wrong?? Any Ideas???

When I create a scene, can you have a wait or delay added?? I would like to not have everything come on at once. Maybe have a couple sec. between some lights! Is this possible??

Hi I programed a keypadlinc button to turn on a scene, and the led light comes on. The light stays on an doesnt go off. I have it set in the Non-toggle on setting. So will the light stay on all the time??? I programed another button to turn light off (Goodnight) in the non-toggle setting and the led light come on and then goes off. am I doing something wrong in the 1st situation to have the led light on alll the time????

Ok guys, I got home around 5:15 and the signal still going on. Then around 5:35 it stopped.... That was almost 12hrs. That is what is so crazy. All of you have given me new thing to look for next time. It may be as long as a week. I did find on of my older Switchlincs that when the pin was pulled the top LED still flickerd???? It shouldnt have been doing that.... However when I turned that breaker off to see if that was the problem the signal continued.. Have any of you ever heard of a wireless router causing something like this???? We have been having to reset it alot.. Will try unplugging it next time.. It is hard to find the problem after it stops.. Thank for all the advise!!!!

Yes, I have unplugged the isy, plm, disabled all the switchlincs, x10 transmitters, take batteries out of all the x10 remotes, unplugged all the insteon appliancelincs, lamplincs, disabled all the older switchlics. It is crazy I have never even had any "M" address set. Once any device is plugged back in the led starts blinking. Doesnt matter which on it is.

I really dont know. Most of the older switchlincs are 2384's and some are the 2386's (2 wire with no ground) No repeaters in the house. I have went through the house and pulled the set buttons on all the switchlinc and the signal still goes on..... I believe that the only thing that I had w/boosterlinc was a keypadlinc, which has been remove and replace with a newer insteon Keypadlinc....

I have this freaky thing going on with my lighting system, I have an ISY 99i, periodicly it (or some thing else) is sending "M/Dim 15" signals consently, therefore after is starts nothing else works. This has happened several times, about 4 or 5 times in the last month. First I thought I had a remote that was stuck and sending a signal. (this happened a couple of years ago.) But I don't have or have never had a "M" address, once 2 weeks ago it was sending a "H" signal, dont have or never have had a "H" address either. This goes on for an hour or so, or for many hours, and then just stops. Is there something else, (cordless phones, etc.) that might send that signal or something close?? I have unplugged the system, taken batteries out of all remotes, removed all x10 transmitters. and the signal is still sending. The lights on my older Smarthome Switchlinc go out and if you turn on a light manually the side bar leds blink rapidly. This is driving me crazy........

Is anyone out there using MobiLinc with an Android phone?? I tried the MobiLinc Lite and all worked with Wi-Fi at home through my network. How ever could not get it work on 3g. We have Comcast and our IP address changes periodicly. We got instructions from someone on MobiLinc forum, but it called for a HTTPS and on our router we could only find HTTP. Really would like to have MobiLinc on my phone, but not at the risk of messing up the system. Thanks

So if I use a Keypadlinc only as a controller with no load connected, will I be able to set the top and bottom seperately?? I am replacing a old 1273 Keypadlinc (which is only a controller) with an New Keypadlinc.

Is this the same way if you are linking the Top and bottom buttons, which are tied to the Load?

I am installing a Keypadlinc and a Switchlinc in the bathroom in a wired 3-way setup. To link them together after their installed, how is the best way to do that through the ISY??

Thanks, I am learning new things every day. I had to start over as my 1st ISY was defective (after less than 2 weeks) Just go a new replacement from Smarthome today. Got my first button on the Keypadlinc progamed fine. Your instuction were perfect. As for your advise about scenes, I agree 100%, that is how I did it with my Activehome system and am doing it with the ISY. If you can control thing with a scene it save alot of extra steps.. Thanks again for the great advise and help, I'm sure I will be in need of more in the future!

Thanks, I think I got it. I read in the ISY manual that if a scene is save to a Keypadlinc button that it save it to the button so it work even if the ISY is down for some reason. If that is so, if you change the scene in some way does if automaticly save it to the button?

Yes I know I can control x10 w/program timers and am doing that now. I just wanted to now if I could manually turn them on or off from the device tree like I can an insteon device?

With the add-on X10 module, it is my understanding that x10 device can be added to the main My Lighting Tree. (Correct or NOT) If this is correct, can you control ON/OFF like the insteon devices can??

Ok, I tried pulling the sd card and reseting. All I get is 3 blue lights and a flashing red error light. Also tried leaving the sd card in and reseting still only get 3 blue lights and flashing red error light. Also have upluged the unit and plm. nothing????
