Right, I was referring to status tests not control, thanks for the clarification. Further, when testing against time or variables I assume the logic follows the same as status tests? For example; If Time is 18:00 then ..... else ..... Thanks! Brian

I am not sure both the ON and OFF conditions need to be tested. My assumption is that whenever there is a state change (ON or OFF) this condition will be tested therefore a simple ON test (to the THEN branch) and the OFF (to the ELSE branch) should be suffice. Please let us know if anyone else has understanding other than this. Thanks! Brian

When I have used the ISY to create scenes, and set devices as controllers and responders do the devices retain their controller and responder relationships even if the ISY goes offline or is unplugged? Thanks! Brian

I hooked up three strands of those new dripping icicles outside to an Insteon switched outlet (outlet is wired to an inside wall switch) the first strand lights no problem but the second and third do not light. When I connect all three to a different in switched wall outlet everything works fine. The strands are low wattage led lights. Any thoughts on this? Thanks! Brian

I need to replace an ip security cam and was looking at two; SmartHome and Foscam both have an indoor pan / tilt for around a hundred bucks. Does anyone have experience or comments on these models? Thanks! Brian

Are there any issues using a UPS with an ISY99? I am having power interruptions from weather and am considering adding an UPS unit to my cable modem, router and ISY. Do all UPS units have surge protection or other circuitry that will block or attenuate PLC? Thx Brian

Is this all that is needed? Or do I need to do it from every PC i access the console from? Thx! Brian

So, when you change the filter how do you reset your counter? Manually via the Admin Console or do you have some other way? Thanks. Brian

I always seem to connect to the ISY, local or remote, but sometimes I can control devices/scenes and sometimes nothing. Last night I tried clearing the java caches (again), and it seemed to get it working, not sure if it will mess up again. I will send in logs as soon as I can. Brian

There are several options. First, is this always the behavior whenever that door is used or are there other scenarios? You could use a variable that flip flops between on and off state to direct the on or off activity. Have you consider a simple on with a wait for n minutes possibility? Cheers. Brian

So let me see if I have this straight... A scene with only responders can have a single device activated and the rest of the responders in the scene will remain unaffected? A scene with responders and controllers will have all responders affected when there is a change to a controller within the scene? A scene with on controllers is completely useless? Thanks! Brian
