yeah restore didn't do anything. I wish I remember what I did when I replaced the plm but I was going out of town next day for 5 days and was in a hurry to get my pool running so I just threw old plm in but I do remember googling how to replace plm but I guess I overlooked the power thing.
-
ah, has it always been that way? even with the old 99? I guess I'm getting confused with my old Pic programming I did. Thanks that helps a lot
-
what would I do if I didn't unplug the isy before replacing PLM. I remember cycling the power after but I'm not sure if I turned it off before replacing.
-
Thanks, I'll check on that tonight. Weird because it looks like the ezflora is working but has exclamation points next to it.
-
I guess my understanding of how the program works is off. I thought that this thing runs in a loop and it's constantly checking all the programs if statements so if I set the Poolheating variable to 0 then that else statement would fire and since the variable would equal zero then the else would be run. So if had another program that turned the pump on when 0 then this program would turn it right off because the variable is 0.
-
yeah but if I put that in the else my pump will never turn on when I'm not heating pool right. I have other schedules that run when I'm not heating that look at the Poolheating variable first.

As everyone knows plm's last about 1-3 years and I just replaced mine with an older version that I had laying around. Didn't go real smooth and seems I've had little glitches ever since. One think I can't get going again is the my wireless remote thermostat. At first it needed to write updates to it and would never work. I pressed the set button till it beeped and then told it to write updates, it seemed to have worked but it's not getting the temperature from it. I get state, humidity but it not working 100% and seems my ezflora is now not comunicating with my system even though it's plugged into the socket right next to my plm. So I guess this is a two part question. 1. How do reconnect the wireless remote thermostat after changing plm 2. What's the proper procedure when replacing a failed PLM, I see that the wireless devices need special attention afterwards but why me ezflora? Can it be because PLM is prob 5 years old? I did buy a new PLM since but just haven't installed yet

what's the best way to cycle my pool pump on/off every certain number of hours. When I have variable PoolHeating to 1 I want the pump/heater to come on for 3 hours then off for 3 hours and repeat till I set variable to 0. I started with this but don't think it is best way or if it would even work. If $PoolHeating is 1 Then Set 'Pool Equipment / FilterPump' On Set 'Pool Equipment / PoolHeater' On Wait 3 hours Set 'Pool Equipment / PoolHeater' Off Set 'Pool Equipment / FilterPump' Off Run Program 'HeatPool' (Then Path) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

wish mine would go to 104, that's about max of my hottub. Mobilinc doesn't show anything higher than 99 either.
-
I don't know about the low temp reading on this unit but the max mine will read is 99 degrees I assume because it's a two digit display? Not sure if it actually can determine over that or not but one limitation I found when using with my hot tub. Other than that I bought intermatic temperature prob and soldered to mine

I have two IOLinc Relays in a scene and when I turn on the scene relays are turned on but when I turn off the scene the relays are not released? Is this typical? Am I missing something?
-
That's what it was, man been fighting that for an hour. I just put a period in body, it won't work with just a space in body. Thanks for the help

if I add anything to the email customization I do not receive any emails but if I take off the content when sending I get the emails. Using default mail server. Also, I do not see any errors in log. Right now I have hello world as content.

I have a Intermatic PA122 Water Temperature Sensor on my pool equipment and read that you can connect a 2441ZTH Wireless Thermostat to a 2433A3 Waterproof Temperature Sensor to get water temperatures. I was wondering if I could solder my Intermatic PA122 Water Temperature to the Thermostat instead. Even if there was a little temperature difference I could work with that. Any ideas?

Actually it goes from scanning to scan complete and repeats

When I remove PAN ID and click binoculars I get nothing.

I'm trying to get my smart meter added, I'm on Centerpoint Energy in Texas and using Smartmetertexas to add my HAN device. I added it last night and it went through the process online and this morning when I looked to see if it added my 994i it says it failed. I'm giving option when adding device if it is a Load Control Device, Unspecified, Thermostat, In Home Display or Intelligent Gateway. I chose load control device. Not sure if that is right or not or if that even matters. Also, I wasn't sure on Installation Code if it was 24 bytes or 32 bytes. I chose 24 bytes. Enrollment Group: 0 Provider ID: none Extended Pan ID: 0000 All RF I've seen one user on here successfully connect to his meter from texas and I've PM'd but no response. Anyone have any tips to get this connected? And yes I have read the document on how to setup meter and hasn't helped.

from everything I've read the 1 wire doesn't work with the ezio8sa and 994i, I wish someone could prove me wrong. i ordered a ds18b20 but was dissapointed to find it won't work

Hey Thanks, at least I know it's not me. Funny thing is, I just happened to choose the relay 8 for my very first testing and it threw me off for a bit, I could hear relay coming on and off but took me a minute to figure out what was going on. At least it's an easy fix.
-
Do you think this could be done with one of the older Venstar thermostats? I have 3 laying around - INSTEON 2491T1ER Integrated Remote Control
-
I finally got my EZIO8SA going and weird thing is, I have my test circuit plugged into Relay 8 on the control but when I am in my 994i and toggle relay 8 it doesn't do anything but if I toggle relay 7 my circuit operates as expected. Is this typical that they are not mapped correctly?
-
I reset my plm and it seems to have added it correctly and working now. Let's hope it stays like that. Thanks

I'm trying to link my EZIO8SA to my new isy994i and I couldn't figure out how to to it will the set button so i added it manually using the address of the attached PLM. It recognized it and then when it tries to write it looks like it reboots then it comes up and says it cannot communicate with it. I have several devices on my system and all work fine with no communication issues. I have it on the same circuit as my EZFlora which works fine. I have two access points on different legs and I even added a phase coupler to my breaker box today. It just repeats the process over and over. Only thing I can think of is maybe my PLM but its the same version I'm using for my 994i, 2413S version 1.B What's the proper process on linking the EZIO8SA, I've seen several and none of the automatic linking worked for me. Any suggestions? Thanks
