Thanks so much for your help!

I’m trying to update the email address associated with my ISY portal account, however the email address field is uneditable. If I create a new account, I’ll have to re-create all of the Amazon Echo spokens/devices. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. For now it seems to be working, so I’ll just keep me eyes on it...

I forgot to mention that ever since I purchased my ISY-994i new, the barrel connector for the power supply fits extremely loose and the same is true for both power supplies so it must be an issue with the female connector inside the ISY. If I don’t keep a little sideways tension on the cord, the connection breaks and it looses power. Not ideal…

Will do. Thanks again everyone…

Fortunately I happened to have an old power supply from my I SY-99 and low and behold my ISY-994 came back to life! What a relief.… Thanks so much for all your help!

Thanks, I’ll give this a shot. In my case however, the power light is not on, only a small blue LED near the rear network port is illuminated. Crossing my fingers anyway…

I’ll try to find another power supply today. Do you happen to know the voltage, polarity, etc? Thanks for your help!

No activity whatsoever on any of the front panel LED’s. Only the network LED on the rear…

Unfortunately I cannot get into the admin console because the ISY cannot be found. There is no activity on any of the front lights, however I do see a blue blinking light near the network port in the rear. The PLM is not the issue, it’s definitely the ISY itself. I’m thinking if it was a bad power supply I wouldn’t see the network light blinking, unless it’s possibly undervolting?

After years of rock solid reliability from my ISY-994i, today I noticed none of my devices were responding. After close inspection, there is no activity on any of the front lights of the ISY, however I do see a blue network activity light in the rear. I’ve tried power cycling, unplugging/replugging to no avail…. Any thoughts?

Hope it works out for you… ?

Have you tried the Home+ or Eve app to see if you can set up an automation trigger for your needs? I use several temperature automations using these apps which simply aren’t available in the native Home app…
-
That makes sense.

Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to use Homebridge? If so, you might consider using the ISY Maker plugin which will expose ISY state variables as devices to HomeKit. This is what I use for my Insteon devices and it works very reliably without all of the hassles of trying to do it manually using other methods. The best part is that Siri recognizes these virtual devices like any other HomeKit devices…
-
Unfortunately not. If you find a working solution, please pass it on. Maybe someone smarter than me has figured this out… ?

Hello, Like many, my smart home isn’t limited to one platform as I have a mix of Insteon, Alexa and HomeKit devices. That said, my goal is to expose all of my devices to each platform and though I’m close, I haven’t found a way to expose Alexa devices to either Homebridge or Homekit. With the “Homebridge Alexa” plug-in I can expose all of my Homebridge devices to Alexa, however I now need to do the same with my Alexa devices but haven’t found a way to do so. Has anyone found a solution to this? Thanks! Chuck

When using ISY variables as motion sensors to act as triggers in Amazon Echo routines, there is often a 5-30 second delay before my Echo’s trigger the routine. Has anyone found a way around this? It seems odd that Amazon would set such a high polling interval especially for device triggers.

Like many, I’m using Homebridge to make my ISY devices available to Homekit. That said, is it possible to make Homekit accessories available to the ISY? I have a Homekit Hunter ceiling fan which I would like to incorporate into an ISY program but haven’t found a way to expose my Homekit devices to my ISY via some sort of a bridge. Would Home Assistant work for this situation or is there a simpler way to accomplish this?

Hello, I’m trying to get the value of a state variable for use in a Siri Shortcut. That said, I need to authenticate with my ISY within the get statement but I’m unsure how to structure it. This is what I have so far, minus the authentication: https://my.isy.io/rest/vars/get/2/29

Unfortunately, it looks like no one has stock of these. I wonder if the they’ve been discontinued?
-
Exactly! Have you had any experience with this particular motion sensor? Thanks so much!
-
Thanks for all of the great suggestions everyone. I was hoping to find a simple motion detector I could actually plug into an outlet but apparently they don’t currently exist.

So this also acts as a physical switch to the wired load independent from the ISY controller ? If so, which part acts as the switch? Thanks...
