  1. I am running into the same issue. I can get it working but after a short period of time not using it, it marks all of the devices as no response.
  2. What would constitute an "accredited investor"?
  3. Mobilinc pro on iphone does programs
  4. Thanks for the quick reply. It is great to hear that it is on the list. Is there any chance of raising the priority since this would be very beneficial in interacting with other services and possibly local servers. Thanks
  5. I was going to ask how to implement variables in the network module, but after seeing your post today at the link above, I see we cannot yet. Does anyone know if/when this may be included in the network module. Seems it would be necessary, to get the fullest use out of the network module.
  6. Thanks for the great review. This helps out a ton. I will try setting this up today. I did not realize this would be as simple as just having it sent to an email address. I figured I would have to work through the api with REST or something similar.
  7. Does anyone know of any good solutions to have the isy send an iOS notification? I have it sending SMS but I would really rather it through the notification center. I have mobilinc, but I have not seen any similar features in it. I have a linux server up 24x7 so i can have it relay events from programs via the networking module. I am currently looking into growl, which may work. Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts.
  8. I did not mention, turning the light on is currently setting a timer to turn the lights off after a preset allowed time(15 min), in order to make sure they are not left on all night. It staggers the lights going off back to the room that originated the event. I'm using smartlinc relays; do they have a ramp rate? The workaround I have right now, is to turn the light back on at the start of the program, wait 15 seconds then turn it back off. I don't like this since it toggles the light and may put undue stress on the bulb (cfl). I would love a way to some how be able to have the switch not affect any lights but jut have it run a program. In this case the program would adjust the lights as necessary.
  9. I have programs listening for events from the bedroom switches. This provides the functionality of turning on the hallway and bathroom lights if it is night when the switch is turned on. I also have it where once they return to their room they can turn off the hallway and bathroom light by turning off their own light switch. When the light is clicked to turn off I would like to introduce a delay in the light actually going off to 15 seconds. This would give them time to get situated in bed before the light went out. As it is the switch triggers the light to go off and then finishes running the program.
  10. I am also very interested in the solution here. I would also like to keep from opening the door frame if at all possible.
  11. This helps out a lot. have a couple questions: Was there anything you had to purchase for the vista 20p to be able to do x10? Can you have the panel arm via a command from the isy? Were you able to program the 20p on your own or does this take special equipment? Thanks so much.
  12. Thank you for the quick replies. I have looked at the Elk panels and they are a bit out of my range and I also think they may do more than I need. I would love to keep the cost of a panel less than $300. Simple event notification to the isy is all I really need. I have read some posts regarding panels using x10 to trigger the isy. I am also In the process of setting up a webcontroller and pogoplug combination, so I could use the pogoplug to relay events to the isy if need be. Whatever solution, I would love it to integrate with the isy admin panel but that is not a requirement at all. The big thing is the events being triggered. I currently have a vista 20adt but I doubt that can relay events. Thanks
  13. I'm looking at purchasing a security panel but cannot afford an ELK. I have seen several references to the future support of other panels by the isy but am not sure when or what would be covered. Does anyone have any recommendations on which one(s) I should look at? Via the forums I've heard people having success with vista 20p, dsc, & napco panels. I'm mainly looking for isy notification of panel events (door or window open, arming, disarming,...) for use in programs and as triggers. I would like this communication to not require a computer running and preferably not through an iolinc. I currently have a vista 20adt. I think I'd be open to x10 notification of the isy if it would work. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
