Thanks......I'm unfortunately still trying to get the camera to work properly wirelessly. Microsoft is interfering with me. I cannot get a picture on my laptop only on my iphone......very frustrating.

Can the new Wireless IP Camera from Smarthome be viewed through an iphone from another location say another city? Other than the plugin for Mobilinc Pro what has to be done for this to be accomplished. I would assume it would work through Mobile Connect just like everything else?

Does the Mornigstar Doorlocks work with the ISY99i or just the smartlinc?
-
My bad. I may have misunderstood. They talked about a dongle that would connect to the ISY. I just assumed it was the ISY99.
-
I was told that if I had the ISY99 it could control a schlage automated door handle/lock? The Schlage works off of z-wave and they charge 12.99 a month to have remote access. I was told there is a device you can connect to the isy99 and you would then be able to control the doorlock via your isy99 and mobilelinc. Is this true or just wishfull thinking?

We are getting ready to put new window blinds on our bedroom window. I woulld like to be able to be able to operate them either remotely via Ipad/Iphone or by a wall keypad such as a Keypadlinc. My question is, are there certain blinds i.e. Hunter Douglas that are compatible with the ISY99 or it doesn't matter the brand? Does Insteon make such a product? Who makes the best one for what I am trying to accomplish? Thanks in advance for any help!

Great information guys. Thank you very much!!!

I have a dual band switchlinc dimmer. It is set up as a scene linked to a button on the keypadlinc. I have the ramp rate set at 8.5 so when I use the keypad I can turn it on with that set rate. It works perfectly. As long as I use the keypad. If I use the actual switch it goes on regularly not at the ramp rate that is set. I have tried to set the ramp rate up through the ISY99 for the device but no luck. What am I missing?

I'm getting no progress bar! Even after sliding the level back and forth. Also the fan doesn't seem to hit high speed.
-
Thanks a ton for your help.

Thanks! I had to invoke admin. Now it shows the correct firmware on both lines. The fan still doesnt seem like it is 100% at high speed.? Also one other thing I can't figure out and that is I have undercabinet lights hooked up to a non dimming switch and I also created a scene for it to work with a Keypadlinc button. Everything works great except when I use the switch at the device to turn on the lights. The keypad button associated with the switch does not light up. I have tried a few different variations but no luck. Also if I turn on the light via keypad and turn off the light using the switch the keypad button will stay lit and will not respond to me turning off the light even tho the light is now off. Any insight?

Also I deleted the fanlinc device and re-entered it as a new device after I did the update to the ISY99. I cleared the cache and it still comes up as a unsupported device. Would that effect the fan performance/speed?

Do I have to have 4 scenes? I currently am using just 3 on the keypad. low, med, and high. Each button toggles so basically each buttons is also an off button.
-
Thanks! I'll give that a try. It seems as tho I am missing a speed? Low and med, no high speed? Any thoughts?

I have three buttons on a keypadlinc low, med, high. All are toggled buttons. Before the ISY99 I had the keypad controlling the fan perfect, I programmed each key manually. Now I am trying to do it through the ISY99 and I can't seem to get it right. The fan seems to go on low and med but no high. Also the keypad isn't controlling the fan correctly. I created scenes for each speed. Is that the correct way?

How does the address differ from the the light on the fanlinc. I already put the address in for the light portion of the fanlinc.

Just upgraded to 3.2.1. I have the isy-99i and I am having difficulty programming the fan so it will be controlled by a Keypadlinc. Is there a special way to add the fanlinc as a new device. ? Any help would be great. Thanks a lot for all of the help everyone as given me so far. I don't know too much on a lot of this and I have been getting great advice from this forum.

I think i got it. One thing, lets say I have two Keypadlincs and button A on Keypadlinc 1 controls a lamp and button A on Keypadlinc 2 controls the same lamp. How can I get button A light to go on when using/pressing the opposite or other Keypadlinc's button A?
-
Thanks! I'll give it a try!
-
Sorry about that. Yes its a Remotelinc 2. No it does not show a state change and yes set buttons links were made out outside of the ISY! Also the butttons are the ABCD buttons. I did try a restore device and it didn't work. If I use my Mobilelinc app on the phone it will work perfectly.
-
For some reason I lost 3 different buttons on a 6 button Keypadlinc. I can't seem to restore them. What am I missing. The only thing that I can figure is I added a Smartlinc 4 button keypad and added scenes in the ISY-99. The smartlinc buttons work but not the keypad buttons. What can I do to get those buttons back controlling what they are suppose to? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Trying to add a Insteon Motion Sensor (2420M) as a new device in the ISY-99i and it will not take it. It does not show up anywhere! I have tried over and over with no luck. Any suggestions? Do you add a Motion Sensor differently than other devices?

I am seeing that periodically Mobilinc Pro does not show the correct status of a given device. For instance, if I turn a lamp on via a Keypadlinc button and then comeback and turn it off a half hour later, I can check Mobillinc and it still says the lamp is on. This is not all of the time but enough to make me ask if something is not right. Is anyone else experiencing something like this or something similar?

You are correct about the wall switch. It is one of those old fixtures with a pull string. Does your same scenario apply to this? Thanks a lot for your help!
