Hello.... Approximately mid July I noticed the routines related to the Bond Bridge had stopped. I noticed there was an update, executed the update, no change. Totally deleted Bond from the ISY and the Polyglot dashboard, reinstalled, no change. Manually entered the hostname (IP) and token info, doesn't discover. The Bridge does PING on the network. Any thoughts out there? ISY is running on version 5.8.3 and the Bond looks like it's on 3.2.14 Thanks, Dan

Hi Guys, Finally got around to set this up. Bingo! Both KPL are working and sync'd to control the fan. I realized the problem was that I didn't define the operation of the buttons in the scenes. Go figure, live and learn. Thanks for your time. Dan

Thank you both for your input. I'll reattempt

THIS IS A REPOST: Hello... Trying to control a fanlinc with two KPLs. One KPL is a an eight button the other is a six button. I have spent several hours and several iterations trying to get this to work and sync both keypads. Thought it would be pretty simple.... NOT! As a starting point I began with: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY994i:INSTEON_Device:FanLinc-KPL_FanLinc_KeypadLinc_Configuration. Adding the second keypad in the mix. That was a NO-GO. Attempted too many things to try to explain here.... So, does anybody have a working configuration utilizing two KPLs that work, that I may plagiarize? I don't normally throw in the towel, but I'm at the end here. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what happened... Logged in and my console (again) and the credentials populated to PG3x. Magic. Thanks for replying. Dan

Good morning, I'm locked out of the Polyglot plugin. Does anyone know how to recover/reset password for PG3x? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks, Dan

DOH! You got me.... Thought I did install it. Anyway, that was the issue. Appreciate the input Paul. All is good. Regards, Dan

Happy new year UDI team, Question.... I purchased the YOLINK plugin, but am not seeing it in either the PG dashboard or on the ISY. I do see it as a purchased plugin though. I've rebooted the system and reinstalled all of my current plugins thinking it would appear, no-go. The only thing I haven't done is updated the packages. Thought I'd check with you first. Firmware is 5.8... I know there is a new firmware package out, but saw it wasn't a major upgrade thought I'd hold off. Always get a bunch of water sensor alarms when I update, a little annoying. Any assistance would be appreciated, Dan

Thank you for providing the above info

Does anybody know or heard of, if there is an integration for Wyze Cameras within UD mobile? Thanks
-
It was a browser issue. I normally run Firefox, attempted the process on Chrome. It migrated. Thanks for everyone's input.

Oh man.... Too easy, now I remember seeing this. Thank you! Maybe you can tell me or direct me to the pros/cons of migrating to PG3x? The only reason why I'm wanting to migrate, is to try the "Notification" feature within UDI mobile and or the GEO fencing addition. Also when I attempt to go to the hyperlink I get a security error. See attachment. Thanks for replying.

Hello... I have looked all over the place. How do you upgrade from PG3 to PG3x? I updated IOX to 5.6.3. Can't locate where in the PG where to update it. It's running on PG3 version 3.1.21 Thanks

@tlightne Sorry just saw this... I was informed to reach out to z-wave alliance for my info. It's not complete but it helped. https://products.z-wavealliance.org/products/3898/configs

Automating Somfy blinds with URTSII need RS-232???? Or Bond??
dpierre replied to dpierre's topic in Polyglot v3 (PG3x)
@jfai If you're not using the node server, I would have to assume all controls are through your cell phone?? No ISY interaction? -

dpierre replied to dpierre's topic in Polyglot v3 (PG3x)
@jfai Are you using the Bond node server with your Bond Pro? How well does the node server play with Bond Pro? I see there's slider function on the Pro, is it only used with the cell phone app or can it be controlled within the node server as well. -
Automating Somfy blinds with URTSII need RS-232???? Or Bond??
dpierre replied to dpierre's topic in Polyglot v3 (PG3x)
I was able to obtain an URTSii at a great price. Currently using a ZRTSI, had a few issues with z-wave so looking looking at other robust options. @JAVI.... I assume your talking about the iTach IP to serial converter? I was thinking if an IP to serial converter would do the trick. Distance isn't an issue in my situation. But again of someone knows what the other RJ ports on the back of the Polisy are for, hence serial??? I may not have to go down that road. Or what about an active or passive splitter connected to the current serial DB-9 connector that communicates with the PLM???? The bond gadget seems nice and would probably do fine given the available node server, just don't to buy another device if I can get by with the URTSi. -
Hello all, I'm looking at automating my Somfy RTS blinds. I see there are two routes that one can take utilizing either of the two nodes in the Node store. The Somfy node for controlling the Somfy URTSii or using a Bond bridge. There is a third.... using the Somfy ZRTSii, but I try to stay away from z-wave as much as possible. Reviewing the Somfy URTSii specs I see the input commands are RS-232 serial. Upon reading the info contained within the Somfy node page (https://github.com/UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/udi-somfy-poly) it states: The URTSii can be connected to the machine running Polyglot directly or the commands can be issued remotely. The machine described in the above comment, could that be the Polisy? If so, would the connection be one of the RJ ports on the back? I know the DB-9 is RS-232 (PLM), but what about the other RJ connectors? I can't find anywhere that defines what the other RJ jacks on the back of the Polisy are used for. If not, how do you get data from the Polisy to the URTSii via RS-232? Looking at the Bond bridge. Seems pretty straight forward. If someone could answer these questions or provide feedback ( Pros, Cons, etc...) as to their own personal experiences, automating Somfy RTS blinds, utilizing either of the two protocols, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Dan

The company returned my call and provided me with the parameters. All is good. Thanks
-
The company doesn't return my calls... Honestly, I'm not that well versed in the protocol. I thought all z-wave devices had parameters that the technology uses to define processes or settings. I have zooz device that lists it's parameters for temperature, light, reset time, L.E.D. colors, etc. Is this not the case related to z-wave?
-
Hello, I have a couple RCS TZ45R thermostats and am trying to dig a bit deep into the automation of it's parameters within IOP. I have searched all over the web and even contacted the company to get the list of the z-wave parameters. No luck, does anyone know where the parameters can found? opensmarthouse.org has the device listed but no parameter info

got it

Yes

NOPE! Nothing. No console.
