  1. Thanks for the reply paulbates. I'm looking to grab another backup, and Amazon has the 2413S, which is what I have now. Is there anything newer, or is this still the latest model?
  2. Today my Smarthome PLM crapped out. After reading on this forum years ago how they just stop working, I had a backup handy, so no big problem. If I remember correctly, Universal Devices was thinking about building their own PLM. Is this still in the works?
  3. larryllix, did as you suggested. Damn that took forever, but it worked. I can now restore a single device as needed. Another question. Is there a way to disable updating battery powered devices so I can 'Restore Devices' from the file tab? Once in a while after a power outage, this is a convenient feature.
  4. OK, both Firmware & UI are at v.4.3.26. Still the same issue. Try to restore 1 device, ISY tries to restore all devices. Maybe round up the remotes and motion sensors and let ISY restore all of them once?
  5. Firmware: v.4.3.26 UI: v.4.2.30 The only pending updates are for the remotes and motion sensor, as expected. The PLM is the original, which is close to 4 years old. Been lucky with that, I think. This started about a year ago, when I restored all devices from the file menu. After that, when I try to restore a single device, ISY restores all devices.
  6. I have the ISY 994i. I see the Restore Devices in the file menu, and not using that. It's when I select a single device in the Main menu to restore, ISY still restores all devices.
  7. Hi all. When I right click on a device to restore it, ISY restores all devices. With remotes and motion sensors this becomes a problem, as you need to click the OK button to get past the them. Is there a way to force ISY to restore only the device you want to retore? Thanks.
  8. Ah, I never noticed the daily button. Thanks guys.
  9. Hey guys, I remember being able to program the Activehome Pro to run a program from-to a date. I can't seem to find that option in the ISY console. Is programming by date not possible with ISY?
  10. Awesome. Thanks!
  11. Michael, every time the consol freezes I restart. Same thing happens next time around.
  12. I received the Mini Remote a few days ago. Giving me problems also, such as when changing from 8 to 4 scene, it freezes the console. Need to end task and restart the console to get back in. Did a search, but couldn't find anything new. Anyone have a fix yet? Mini Remote Model 2342-2 v1.4 1321
  13. I started having this problem a few days ago. Tried clearing the Java cache several times. Still can't see the status of any devices. Anything new on this problem?
  14. Me too.
  15. How can I link everything to show in the Membership area?
  16. Hi LeeG. Yes, I'm wondering about the Membership list. Everything I've done with Insteon has been through ISY. I would think each item would be listed as controller or responder in that list. Is this correct?
  17. I really need to pay attention to what I'm doing. I found another program in the tree for turning on the bulb. After deleting that, and entering the above program again, all seems good. I still would like to know what the deal is with that box in the Main tab.
  18. As per LeeG and oberkc suggestions, I have first disabled, then deleted the program. The bulb still comes on when the motion sensor is triggered. I have no clue how the motion sensor and bulb were linked, nor do I know how to break the link. Everything was done within the ISY console. Looking at the box on the right side of the console screen in the Main tab, none of my devices are linked as controller or responder. I guess I'm missing a big part of the ISY programming.
  19. The motion sensor is not linked directly to the bulb. It was programmed throught the ISY as follows, with the number 5 jumper on. Sensing mode: As motion is sensed. On only mode: On commands only. Night mode: Always.
  20. I do want the motion sensor to control the Insteon LED bulb. I just don't want it to come on during daylight. I was thinking the above program would allow the bulb to be turned on only from sundown till sunrise, for 2 minutes, then turn off. I come from 20 years of using X10. Although Insteon and ISY are much better, it's taking me a bit to get the hang of it.

    Motion sensor

Okay, I just started playing with the motion sensor. I can't wrap my brain around it yet. The bulb turns on with any motion detected, all the time. It is an Insteon bulb. Any help would be appreciated. If From Sunset + 15 minutes To Sunrise - 15 minutes (next day) And Control 'Sunroom Motion Sensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Set '1st Floor / Sunroom LED Bulb' On Wait 2 minutes Set '1st Floor / Sunroom LED Bulb' Off Else Set '1st Floor / Sunroom LED Bulb' Off
  22. fitzpatri8, that I can use. Thanks!
  23. Thanks to everyone for the input. I was hoping to take advantage of the dual band capabilities of the LampLinc. I’ll go the safe route and order more ApplianceLincs.
  24. Does anyone see any drawbacks using a LampLinc as an ApplianceLinc for low power draw appliances, such as a floor fan? With setting the LampLinc on level at 100 and ramp rate at 0.1s, I don't believe it would be a problem. What do you think?
