  1. I have been using the Elk M1 Gold security system with the 994i for years with few problems. Recently the Mi exp communication module failed and I replaced it with a NEO system. I kept the ISY 994i hoping I could continue to use it. But since the change I find the some, but not all of my Insteon devices work once or twice and then I get the red exclamation mark and the message that the device is not connected to the system. I have used query and reset and add new insteon device etc. Sometimes I can get reconnected but after a few cycles I get the red exclamation again and the device won't respond. Some devices show a green icon and will work one time and then disconnect. The three green icons at the bottom of the list in the screenshot show some of the new devices that I tried to add, but some of the normal icon for devices that I have been using successfully for years also will disconnect and show the disconnect icon. I don't see the disable Elk checkbox in the Elk configuration page that is shown in the 994 manual. johnsmal

  3. Michel, I had selected a 512 key on the laptop. When I selected a 1024 key, the laptop behaves just like the desktop. That is, I can get into My Lighting with both IE and firefox, but only after I override 3 different security warnings. Permanently making the exception doesn't seem to be permanent. johnsmal
  4. Michel, As I said in my previous post, I did manage to get the ISY site to open on my desktop, although I still have to jump through hoops to do so with all of the security warnings. I recently tried to do the same on my laptop. I use both IE and Firefox and XP on both computers. I did the security key configuration process in local with both computers but on the laptop, I continue to get the message that IE cannot display the webpage. On the other hand, in Firefox, it opens without all of the hassle about security that I get with both browsers on the desktop. Since I use the laptop to query the site when I'm traveling, I can still work with this but I wonder if there isn't some way to get rid of all of these issues once and for all on both computers? I'm almost afraid to uninstall and reinstall 3.2.6 after all of this unless that is sure to get it fixed.
  5. I tried to reinstall the previous certificate, but microsoft would not let me open the backup file so I got a new one and finally got firefox to accept it so it is working now. Then I reconfigured the M1 and the 99i and got them talking again, so all is now working. Thanks for the help. Wonder why this happened. johnsmal
  6. I just upgraded to v3.2.6 and have two problems. First I cannot open My Lighting through my DNS. I get the following error: security library failure. (Error code: sec_error_library_failure) The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. I can open any other port through my dns and I can open the port inside my LAN by going directly to the address. Second, although the 99i can operate all of my devices from the My Lighting screen, it has lost contact with my M1Gold. I rebooted the 99i and the M1Gold and I cannot operate the devices from the Elk keypad as I could just before I upgraded. Help! johnsmal
