Does anyone have a step-by-step guide on how to implement a free startssl.org SSL cert with the ISY994i? I spent most of yesterday experimenting with this, but could never get error free. My Mac Safari browser would show the the Startcom certificate, but said their was a problem with it with no explanation. There has to be an easier way to set up SSL certs like Synology does with Let'sEncrypt. Would have to be implemented into the shell I know. I have to admit, the setup was pretty pain free when setting up on my Synology NAS and Let'sEncrypt. Would be awesome if this was under consideration by UDI.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully they will ad such a feature down the road.

Michael, great work! I spent the last 12 hours working though various issues with the Izzy Skill. Had all kinds of problems with it understanding spoken names. I had some that worked and others that would not. I just discovered the connected home feature and it works great! Took no time to make it work. Question, is there anyway to get a confirmation other than just "ok" when you tell it to turn on a device? I would like to hear a confirmation like Izzy gave such as "turning on flood lights". Is that possible or possible in the future?

Release 4.0.1 Beta Is Now Available
parkersmith replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in Previous Releases
Thanks. Are you sure Heartbeat On = (Leak Sensor Dry) or Heartbeat Off = (Leak Sensor Wet)? Heartbeat was supposed to be Group 4. I am confused by this as I thought the Heartbeat was a completely different signal than the wet/dry responses. I take it you own a leak sensor and have played around with it to make the suggested program work? -

Thanks for the reply. So why or how would the heartbeat sensor get switched off? If the battery dies, removed or the unit is out of range, I would expect the Leak Sensor to not be able to send an On for the heartbeat. -

Leak Sensor works properly. Glad to see the heartbeat is present. I see it is ON when there is a heartbeat. If the Leak Sensor has not sent out a heartbeat in a while, does the ISY change the status to OFF? Trying to determine how best to build a program to let me know when the heartbeat is absent. Also, on setting up a program, the STATUS options for the link sensor is "Responding", "100%" or "Off". Shouldn't is say On instead of 100%? -
Release 3.3.8 (RC5) Is Now Available
parkersmith replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in Previous Releases
Firmware is 3.3.8 for both. See screenshot. This is the first time I have accessed the ISY from this laptop and it has been on 3.3.8 since then. No need to flush the cache, but did just in case. I did right click on the Primary node and select Diagnostics | Query Insteon Engine, but still no change. I CAN change the KPL LED backlight level from the Main page on the Device itself. See screenshot. I just don't have the option in the Program section. The option is missing, not necessarily broken. Here is the event view log at Level 3. I changed the level from the Main device page to 6/14 and then back to 7/15. I have done nothing to the program since the On/Off options are missing. Release 3.3.8 (RC5) Is Now Available

To clarify, I have added a few more screen shots showing my 2 different keypads and I created a new program with the 2487S only, and there is still no On/Off Backlight settings for the entire keypad. Should not be hard to reproduce. -

Sorry, I must have confused you. I am not trying to turn on a secondary keypadlinc key. I am trying to set the LED Backlight level that adjusts the overall LED intensity of all buttons. This works in the programs section for a 2486D, but not the 2487S. -

Looks to me like you are adjusting House Floods - Kitchen not Stairway KPL. I suspect House Floods - Kitchen are not on a KPL. -Xathros I was changing an existing program to the "House Floods - Kitchen" which is the 2487S. I was modifying a program that originally had the "Stairway light" which is a 2486D. -

I have a Keypadlinc 2487S that is reconfigured with 8 buttons. From the device, I can set the LED Brightness. However, from a program, there is no option for On/Off Backlight levels; only Backlight Level by itself. I was trying to setup a program that Dims the On/Off LED Brightness at night, but I only have one option for Backlight Level. Screenshot attached. KeypadLinc 2486D works fine. Also, the Outdoor Module 2456S3E works fine. I just discovered that the module you want to test is the newer Dual Band and I thought that is what I had:( I just got it in December:( -

Upgrade went fine and keypad lights now work. I do have a question though. As a previous Houselinc user, I had the ability to blink the LED based on activity. I am a new ISY user and cannot find that function. Does that exist? This is really only used for Switchlincs with a single LED. However, on 3.3.7 when KPL was messed up, one of my keypadlincs was blinking on activity and I had never seen that done before with Houselinc, so I guess it would be possible on them too.
