  1. I added the Leviton Smart Plug to my ISY. Everything works perfectly except when I manually activate the smart plug, its status is not reflected in the ISY without querying the smart plug. The event log shows it is sending communications to the ISY when I manually activate the switch, but no change in ISY status.
  2. Has anyone solved the issue of getting the ISY to display the current state (temp)? My ISY has the latest firmware 4.2.18 and I just purchased a new 2441ZTH firmware revision OE. Everything seems to work fine. the time syncs. the ISY shows changes to the mode and setpoint of the thermostat. and the humidity is correct. It appears that only a large change to temp will send the ISY the current state and display it. Otherwise the ISY current state is blank. All other fields are correct. Not sure if this is an insteon thermostat problem or an ISY problem. P.S. I added an external power supply to the 2441ZTH
  3. You are correct. I can do it with 3.2.1 and list every device. This is exactly what I will do, but these are large houses with tons of devices and it would be very helpful to have the "any" feature. Just need to upgrade my ISYs and write the additional programs. Trying to save myself work if you guys are willing to make the upgrade.
  4. The 3am query is what I currently do and it identifies the non responding devices, but again I need to login to the admin console of each ISY. However, a once a day check for any devices that are not responding with notification would be very very helpful. Basically, I monitor other peoples homes and want to make sure their systems are working fine. This way I could proactively respond to any failure, hopefully before the homeowner is even aware of a problem. Good customer service. As you know, I am a longtime insteon customer and have started to install systems in other peoples homes and all use an ISY to control them. Lots of vacation homes in my area and business is great. This notification upgrade would help immensely.
  5. I appreciate you answer and may implement it for some key devices in the interim, but the additional feature would be very helpful and hopefully not just for me.
  6. I have over 40-60 devices in each house. There must be a more elegant way. Since I am using the query all command, could a failure notice not be added. Clearly, the ISY knows there was a fault immediately after it runs the query all command and displays it the next time I log into the console.
  7. This may be quite simple, but I monitor several houses with ISY devices. Each one runs a daily query in the middle of the night. Occasionally, a device will fail to respond and I will need to deal with it. I would like to be procactive. Is there any way that the ISY could send a notification that the query failed and which device was responsible? Currently, I need to open the admin console and the device error pops up, but this is a pain given the number of houses that I am responsible for.
  8. To answer your questions. All programs are enabled and I even sightly modified one and resaved it. The last run time and finish times are blank and never change despite activating the devices. The devices do change their status in the command console correctly but do not initiate the programs. I fixed it by doing a factory reset and reloading the backup configuration. I did save the corrupted configuration and tried reloading it and it caused the same error. Clearly my configuration became corrupted during the upgrade and maybe this will help others. Backup is very important before all firmware updates!
  9. I upgraded to 2.8.2 and my programs stopped working. Any program that checks the status of any switch will not function. Direct control in programs does function however. The admin console shows the correct status and it changes correctly. the event viewer also indicated correctly that the changes are being received. However no "if status" or "if control" program functions are working at all. I tried to downgrade back to 2.8.1 but no luck. Any ideas???? Thanks
  10. This was a real problem in my house. I have four thermostats and when I upgraded I was having all sorts of issues. A quick soldering job in each thermostat has fixed everything. Thank you all again. Smarthome should warn others or fix the issue.
  11. I have put three tsats in one scene. this is for convenience so that I can view them all at once. In this managed scene are the correct values for the current state of the thermostats, but in the table of setpoints, only the first thermostat has the correct setpoints. the other two seem to be just random values. As I said before i do not rely on any of this data since all my programming is with individual Tsats, but I thought I would give you a heads up. Also, if you send a notification email when the new tsats call for heat. the status value is 127 deg and 0 deg if the tsat is no longing calling for heat. I hope that is clear. Just two small quicks.
  12. Just installed 2.7.9 and it fixed the EZSnSRF issues. Everything works again. Thank you. Great job. Only small issue is that when you add a group of thermostats to a scene, the setpoints displayed are incorrect. This does not effect anything, because I control the thermostats individually, but the scene aggregation is not quite right. Silly issue and not a big deal.
  13. I just upgrade from 2.7.6 to 2.7.8 and everything went perfectly. I added four new v2.0 Tsats and agian perfect. However, my EZSnSRF now does not work. I compared the link tables and there was a mismatch. I deleted and reinstalled the EZSnSRF but now I get no links at all in the ISY table. No matter what I do I get links in the device, but nothing in the ISY. The sensor links fine and I see blinking traffic, but the ISY sees no traffic. I am sure this is one problem that you hate to see and I know there are support issues. However, everything works if I switch back to 2.7.6 and now I am lost. Thanks.
  14. I really need 2.7.8 for the v 2.0 thermostats, but I can't find it.
  15. no problem. I understand. Could you post when you have a solution. My wife leaves the garage door open and we are having bear problems getting into the garbage. So I would love to have this solved. I still love the isy.
