Should the Amazon Echo work when my computer is turned off?

FINALLY I got the Echo to work! It sure is nice to not have to use a computer or tablet to control my devices. I'm disabled and this is very helpful and increases my quality of life. Thank you everyone at Universal Devices!

I was using Internet Explorer 11 to set up the portal, but today I tried using Chrome and it worked. Now I have access to the Echo, but ISY doesn't show up in the android app for Echo and it can't find any of my device. At least I have made some progress toward that end.

I wonder why? I guess this is one of the reasons it's still in Beta.

When I click on the link and enter my email address and password I get a white screen without anything on it.

In the "My Profile" page of the ISY portal underneath the line that says "Amazon account linked to" there is an empty text box. What do I put in this box? I think this is the only thing I have left to do to get everything activated and linked so I can start using the Echo with my ISY system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I spent approximately 14 hours yesterday trying to get this all figured out. Help!

I'm new to modules. When I go to the ISY portals and click on the upper right side where it says "my profile", "Select Tools", "Amazon Echo": I get an "Access Denied" message that says "pending approval by owner". What am I doing wrong? What have I missed?

Thanks, this worked. I discovered that the problem was that I needed to reset my ISY-994i once I had deleted the console. Now everything is working again. Thanks again! GBC

My Administrative Console has gotten all messed up. I need to delete and reinstall it. In the process of trying to find where it was located I got frustrated and went to the file and deleted the folder that it was in. I have reinstalled it, but now it won't open completely. It opens partially and I can't get it to work. How can I uninstall it and reinstall it correctly? GBC
