  1. Brian H- After relocating the PLM and the Access Points a few times, I was able to get reasonably steady communications with the Xeonon's TURNED OFF. Whe I turned them back on, the problems re-appeared. I guess my next step is to install Leviton filters between the Xenons and the ToggleLinc. Does that sound like the best advice? Rowland- I am getting a steady report of links from the PLM links table, so this reaffirms that my problems probably emanate from the Xenon transformers and not from a bad PLM. Thanks for this advice! BTW, I was getting the same links report with the Xenons both on or off. Michel- Might be a good idea to move this to the Insteon Communications forum. Sorry I started this in the wrong place.
  2. I'll turn the xenons off and test for other issues, then report back. The Xenon lamp is made by AmerTac. I think it has a transformer, but no built in dimmer. Dimmer
  3. I recently added several xenon undercabinet lights to replace flourescents. The look is great - the xenon's really bring out the tile backsplash and granite colors. I control the xenons with 2 ToggleLincs. About the same time I also replaced my PLM and ISY99i because the ISY99i stopped working after a power outage. Before all this, I had virtually no communications issues. I now have many serious communications issues, including issues with the TLs that control the xenons. Should I suspect the xenons or the new PLM? What is best way to troubleshoot to see where my issues lie? Thanks!
  4. Sent. Let me know what else I should provide. Thanks for the help..
  5. Thanks Michel, Advanced Option selected is Automatic. The Motion Sensor would not restore. I tried about 20 times. Every time it I would get an error message - "Request Failed". I tried putting the Motion Sensor in program mode with single 5-second click (steady flash) and 2nd click (alternate fast and slow flash). I moved the sensor in various positions close to and further away from the Access Points. Put in a fresh battery, etc. Do I have a bad Sensor? Should I replace it? I just replaced the PLM and ISY99i.....hate to go through this again. Thanks for the help.. Just learning these motion sensors..
  6. I have successfully added a new motion sensor to ISY99i and added it to a simple scene (using drag and drop) as a controller over 2 togglelincs. The scene correctly shows each togglelinc as a responder and the Motion Sensor as a controller. However, the Motion Sensor does not turn the TL's on or off when motion is detected - unless I also manually link the MS to the TLs. Is there something else I need to do to avoid having to manually link? I would like to add a few more motion sensors to control many more devices. Do I need to change any settings on the Dawn/Sunset or Low Battery devices that appear benenath the newly added sensor in My Lighting? Did I miss reading some instructions somewhere? Using v.2.6.13
  7. Thanks, Michel, I sent the PLM and ISY99i back to Smarthome. Hopefully they will replace both. Very strange occurrence. -O
  8. My ISY99i will not show any lights and will not power up or function after our whole-house power flickered on and off this morning. I have tried unplugging/re-plugging the PLM, and unplugging/re-plugging the PLM and network cords to the ISY99i. I have also pushed the reset button on the front panel - none of the front panel lights will come on. The PLM's light is ON on the side-button. My ISY99i did not come with a power supply cord, but has worked fine to date with the PLM plugged into Port A. Anything else I should try?
