  1. Interesting. I had the exact same issue. I was able to fix it by unplugging my PLM for ~30 seconds and then rebooting the ISY.
  2. predevice: all device: first floor second floor third floor I'd like to do something like "turn off all basement lights" or "turn on all first floor lights". I'm actually much more interested in getting the connected home integration than the skill, however. I don't really care too much for "alexa, tell izzy...". I'd much prefer something like "alexa, turn off.."
  3. Here is your device list in alphabetical order. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think this is much easier to read and see if the desired devices are present. air conditioner andrea's bedroom attic awning bar barbara's bedroom barn basement basement bathroom basement bedroom basement toilet basement washroom bathroom bedroom box room boy's bedroom breakfast area breakfast table breezeway cellar charles's bedroom children's bedroom chime chime mode chrismas tree christmas cinema cinema computer computer room david's bedroom deck den desk desk room dining dining room door door chime downstairs driveway elizabeth's bedroom entertainment room entertainment entrance entry entry erin's room exterior exterior decor family room fireplace floor floor bathroom foyer game room garage garage door garage front girls's bedroom great room greg's bedroom guest room guest's bedroom guest's room hall hallway hallway heater holiday island island sink james's bedroom jennifer's bedroom jess's room john's bedroom joseph's bedroom katie's bedroom kid's bedroom kitchen kitchen area kitchen desk kitchen island kitchen sink kitchen table kitchen window kitchenette lanai landing landscape laundry laundry room library linda's bedroom living living room locker maria's bedroom mary's bedroom mary's room master media media room michael's bedroom music room nook office pantry parlour patio patricia's bedroom pool porch rec room receiver richard's bedroom robert's bedroom room sally's bedroom sconce small garage door sprinkler stairs steps stereo study study room swimming swimming pool t. v. theater thermostat toilet tree upstairs utility utility room walkway wall wall sconce washroom william's bedroom xmas xmas tree yard yard zone eight zone five zone four zone one zone seven zone six zone three zone two
  4. It would be very helpful if your lists (pre, post, device) were sorted alphabetically. You could probably use something like Excel to do that pretty quick. Also, when you find suggestions that you will include in the final list on Sunday, please add them to the list in your original post. That way there is a single, updated list that contains everything. My suggestions: device: projector screen fountain
  5. Ok, nevermind, the "request for access" finally appeared. It took a lot longer than I thought it would.
  6. Hi, I just purchased the portal module and got it installed about 10 min ago. The portal module is now installed on my ISY. I have also created an account on http://my.isy.io. I added my ISY to my.isy.io using my UDID. I then went back to my ISY admin console and went to configuration->Portals, but there is nothing listed there. The documentation states that I should have a "request for access", but I just see a blank screen. Is there anything else that I'm missing? Thanks.
  7. If you can't have "Isy" or "Izzy", I'd try to get creative. "My home" just doesn't sound that great. Some suggestions (all should be common-enough English words): Data (my personal favorite for a home automation 'helper') Eve Crow After seeing this post, we got an Echo today. Hopefully the ISY integration will be done in a few weeks. "Alexa, Ask Data to run program 'basement lights off'" ... It actually doesn't sound that bad.
  8. I've also applied a couple times. I've never heard back from them. It just doesn't seem like they're interested in giving people access to their APIs.
  9. Has anyone had any luck getting access to their API? I had asked to join their program around June, and again a few days ago, and I have yet to get a reply from them. Their "Open" API doesn't seem very open to me. I'm trying to get access to the logging functionality via an API so that I can automatically upload performance logs to my site. I have a working version already, although it still might have some bugs, at http://energy.bloodforge.com/. Right now, it is a manual process that involves inserting a USB stick to the thermostat to get the log, and then manually uploading the log to the server... not really an ideal process. BTW, if anyone wouldn't mind sharing their performance logs with me, I'd appreciate it. Honeywell doesn't really have any reference document, and I'm sure there are things in a log file that are not supported on my site.
  10. Cool, thanks for the quick reply. I just got the ISY hooked up last night, and I obviously still have a lot to learn. Just to be clear what is going on in your reply: Control 'switch' is switched Off - this is true when the KeypadLinc load is off Status 'switch' is Off - this is true when the "off" button is being pressed on the KeypadLinc Is that correct?
  11. Hi, I would like to trigger a program to run when hitting the off switch when the main load is already off on a keypad switch and dimmer. For example, I have a keypad switch that has its main load control the stair lights to the basement. After I turn off the stair lights, if I hit the "off" again I would like to turn off all the lights in the basement. Is this doable? Thanks!
