I also need to restart my EISY almost weekly. it functions with my devices but not google or UD mobile. I put in a help ticket but they must not know how to fix yet

These switches do have Scene modes. I am not sure how to utilize them?
-
I will post tonight. Thank you for the responses!

If I select the status the program will trigger with the motion sensors which will disable the programs intention. This program runs my garage lights. When we are under the car and no motion is sensed the lights turn off. This is why I was using the on switch to turn the garage lights on and it also then disabled the motion sensor program. I then press the off on the switch to turn the lights off and then re-enable the motion sensor program. This worked perfect with the Insteon switch.
-
Yes, from the admin console I am able to turn the light on and off. The switch also displays on and off in the admin console when I press the physical switch.

I have a program that was using an insteon switch as a control. When I pressed the on button, the program ran Then. When I pressed off the program ran Else I replaced with an Ultra Pro ZW switch and the program does not recognize the on push:? Any advise will be helpful:

Motion sensor II now has sensitivity settings for motion. Is lower or higher more sensitive?
-
I am also having the same issue. It connected to ISY just fine but will not respond? Is there a recommendation for another motion sensor that is more reliable and small?
-
Thanks Michel but this is the process. Reset ISY - Restored ISY - unplugged ISY unplugged PLM, held button while plugging in for 10 sec - Connected internet cable to plm and ISY Turned on ISY restored plm I will try again this evening
-
OK I am having the exact same problem. 5.0.13 was working then no communication with anything wireless purchased new PLM - Nope, this did not fix the issue 30 second reset on ISY and PLM, started from scratch, wireless works and event log level 3 shows communication. Restore my ISY to the previous save and no wireless showing in level 3? Yet I can write changes to these devices??? I am proceeding with rebuilding everything.

Thank you My point is that the new motion sensor for insteon (perhaps not fully supported is the cause) only captures 10% of the old sensors. I have the new 2844-222 next to the old 2842-222 and added a variable for each sensor. I can then count the number of on's and the new sensor is terrible. If this is true going forward I would add a Z Wave module to my ISY for flexibility but i currently have no experience with Z Wave. All feedback is appreciated.

I am using insteon with my ISY Is there another solution? Another brand of motion sensor that will work with the ISY?
-
update I performed a master reset on the switch and it appears to work fine but the motion sensors still perform only after a long period of time. My thoughts: with the below program every time the motion sensor is triggered it should restart the program essentially the lights should stay on as long as there is motion in the room. Even if I press the manual switch on the back of the 2842-222 it does not add one to the variable or restart the program unless i wait a long time. IE it appears to work when i first walk into a room but the light will time out Kitchen Motion I new - [iD 0057][Parent 004B] If 'Motion New I Kitchen-Sensor' is switched On Then $new += 1 Set 'Light - Kitchen LED main' On Set 'Light - Kitchen LED Single Ca' On Wait 2 minutes Set 'Light - Kitchen LED main' Off Set 'Light - Kitchen LED Single Ca' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

I am using 5.0.11C Having issues with my motion sensors not triggering programs so i purchased a 2342-2 8 place switch Created a variable to count the number of times i press the switch Opened tools/diagnostics/event viewer and selected level 3 100% of the time i press switch A the event viewer shows that the switch was pushed only 10% of the time the program adds one to the count variable switch count - [iD 0056][Parent 005F] If '8PlaceSwitch - A' is switched On Then $switch_count += 1 Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') This is the same issue i am having with my motion sensors (both new and old versions) Why is the ISY seeing the communication but not acting on the input from the switch? I have 2 garage doors. I have both connected to 2450 IO Linc C.41. One has already been replaced. Now both are failing. They appear to have failed at near the same time.
