I migrated from the ISY994 to Eisy and i'm working on the fall-out of this migration. One issues is wrt PG3 - The nodes in PG3 are listed as "unmanaged" - I was able to resolve some of this by re-installing them from the new Node Store - but others I simply want to delete - but I'm unable to find a way to do this from the GUI. What's the process for this?

I'm trying to configure a Wake on LAN device, i enter MAC Address (with dashes, all upper-case), IP Address (in my case 10.10.1.115), Subnet (255.255.255.0) and Press Calculate and click "OK". When I open the settings again, the IP Address is always "10.10.1.126"... i'm i doing something wrong? I'm running 4.2.2

What't the best way to detect the length of a power outage and send out a notification? (with ISY and Router both on a UPS and both without a UPS)? Wondering if there are variables build in ISY for this?

So tag motion does not use something like basic auth and thus adding a basic auth header to the POST request from ISY does not work? I was hoping to get this working without an additional server -Angelo

I'm trying to figure out how to detect if my cars are parked on my driveway/garage and was hoping there would be a easy solution like placing an RFID tag in my car and somehow detect this.. seems very straightforward, but have not been able to find anything that will integrate with ISY.. anybody has implemented something like this?

So just added a KeypadLinc (V.43) and a FanLinc and followed the instructions above to program Low/Medium/High/Off using the secondary buttons but I'm running in the following issue: When I press a button on the Keypadlinc (for example A to turn the fan to Low), all other button turn on as well (B,C,D). But when I select the scene and press "On", only the A button lights up and the other turn off as expected... For the scene (Low) above, I made A a controller and B,C,D a responder.. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

Lee/Xathros/EircK thanks for the help so far. Tricky part is that they KPL button is also part of a scene (in order to turn the button off) and in that case there is no "On" value available.. I tried "Not Off", but this does not seem to work. I will post the event logs tonight once I'm home.

I have several Philips LED flood lights and they dim without any problem.

I want to have the "house" wake me up (lights on, music on) by enabling this using a keypadlinc button. So what I really want is to have a program with the following condition if 'bedroom - keypad button A' is turned on and Time is 6:30:00AM then run program 'Music on (then Path)' but it never trigger the program.I assume you cannot simply look for a keypad button state (as it doesn't show up in the device status) so I'm looking for the proper/recommended what of doing this.. Thanks!! btw, I installed my ISY994 about 2 weeks ago and it's been pretty awesome so far. Got the network module and weather module as well. Support on the forum here has been top notch!!!

I've linked a Open/Close Sensor (Triggerlinc) to my ISY and it created 2 "devices" (it shows up as a "2421 Triggerlinc v.34" while the actual device is a "2843-222") Door -Closed Door -Opened When I open the door, i briefly see the state of "Door -Opened" going from Off to On (before it switches back to Off) I'm trying to trigger a program based on this, but have been unable to do this.. Tried "Control 'Door -Opened' is switched on" "Control 'Door -Opened' is switched Fast on" "Status 'Door -Opened' is switched on" but nothing seem to trigger my program... I do see events for this device: DON 1 ST 255 DOF 1 ST 0 I assume I do something wrong and I searched the forums but have been unable to find anything about on how to get this to work... I did try to link the device with the dip switch taken off, but same results..

Thanks for the reply! Any thoughts regarding creating an additional scene vs setting the level for each device (within the scene) from the program? Also, is it possible to set a dim level based on a variable?

Hi there, I just got my ISY994 device and coming from Homeseer, this thing is awesome to manage my Insteon devices! I've registered all my devices and created scenes for all 2+-way setups and now i'm ready to starting writing programs. But before I start off, I want to make sure what I'm trying todo is the right way to doing it... Basically I want to create a "Party mode" triggered by one of the buttons on a Keypadlinc. I also want to button to be Off (eg, LED is off) My initial idea was more or less the following (pseudo code) IF keypadbutton is turned on THEN turn lights/scenes on AND turn keypad button off Tricky part is the "turn scene" on.. I can turn on a scene, but this is the default dim -level of that scene.. i really want to overwrite this, but there is no option to "set dim level to xx% for all devices in scene".. Question: Do I have to turn all devices on one-by-one and set them to a particular dim level?
