Guys, This is the Google Home forum. I'm pointing out a bug where I cannot control ISY controlled lights when I give a command such as "Turn kitchen lights off". The Hue lights in the kitchen turn off as expected, but the ISY controlled lights don't respond. I can control the ISY controlled lights through the Home individually. I'm having an issue in a room that uses multiple services. When I say "turn off the kitchen lights", all hue lights turn off, but the home says it encountered an error and all ISY controlled lights stay on. I can control any light individually, but not as a room group. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

I'm seeing the same issue with both my Venstar and Insteon thermostats. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

Count me in. I would like to hook a few up to my A/V system.

Thanks. I didn't think of using a folder to test the nighttime condition.

I want to have a program tha turns the bedroom lights on when I wake up (X) if it is before sunrise. If I set the program to run from time X to sunrise, it will run at time X whether it is before or after sunrise. If I set the program to run from 12AM to sunrise AND time X, the lights turn on at midnight.

I set up a query for all my multigang switches that runs every 5 minutes. This is one of the biggest shortcomings of insteon.

I am truly looking forward to this addition. Right now, I have a very basic set of programs that waters based on the prior day's temperature and rainfall.
-
I had this problem initially. I think that I increased the network timeout on the ISY and that solved the problem.
-
It seems that programs that are both time and device dependant are evaluated regardless of the time if any device in the condition statement is changed. Is this supposed to occur?

I'm still getting a status of 0 on my thermostat (infrequently) when the setpoint is changed. Would it be possible for the ISY to disregard a status of 0? Last night I manually queried each device to get the OL/RR to be correct in the admin console. Initally all devices were set to 0% and 9 min. This morning, all the devices are back to 0% and 9 minutes.

I have a program that queries any multi-gang switches. Some of my outside lights are involved in that group. Every time the switches are queried, the Outside Lights Daytime program executes twice even though all of the outside lights are off. Here is the Outside Lights Daytime program: If From Sunrise To Sunset (same day) And ( Status 'FydChristmasLights' is not Off Or Status 'LrWindowLights' is not Off Or Status 'FydWalkwayLights' is not Off Or Status 'BydPatioStepLights' is not Off Or Status 'FydPorchLight' is not Off Or Status 'BydDoorLight' is not Off Or Status 'BydPatioLights' is not Off ) Then Set 'BydPatioStepLights' Off Set 'FydPorchLight' Off Set 'FydChristmasLights' Off Set 'LrWindowLights' Off Set 'FydWalkwayLights' Off Set 'BydPatioLights' Off Set 'BydDoorLight' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Here is my log: Scene:MultiGang Status 0% Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log BydPatioStepLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log FydPorchLight Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log FydChristmasLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log LrWindowLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log FydWalkwayLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log BydPatioLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log BydDoorLight Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:26 AM Program Log BydPatioStepLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log FydPorchLight Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log FydChristmasLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log LrWindowLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log FydWalkwayLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log BydPatioLights Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log BydDoorLight Off 0 Fri 12/12/2008 09:28:28 AM Program Log

Another thing that I am seeing is that when a device is queried, any program with that device in the conditional statement fires. I did not see this occurance in 2.6.8. This is a problem for some of my programs because it resets delayed offs indefinitely.
-
I am seeing that in the log, a thermostat query has two lines for status. The first line is 0 and the second line is the current temp.
-
I have a program that queries my thermostat every 15 minutes. Since the update from 2.6.8 to 2.6.10, the program does not query the thermostat. If I manually query the thermostat, all values update, but the program (even if I execute the then statement) won't update values.

Are you able to change OL/RR for motion sensor controlled scenes?
-
I just swapped in my HL2 PLM and it seems to be working. It shows up as v72 in the admin console.
-
I am having problems with my motion sensor and 2.6.10. When I updated, the motion sensor (previously installed and operational) showed up as an unknown device type. I removed it and reinstalled it by manually selecting the device type. Now I can't change the on level or ramp rate for the scene that the motion sensor controls. I get a request failed dialog.

Michael, The different groups were not from different buttons. In my case, I deleted a scene, but all of the devices that were on a particular circuit did not remove the link. I tried to recreate the scene and then delete it which has worked in the past to remove "phantom" links. When this failed, I used Insteon Explorer to view the link tables and delete the links in question. I, for one, would be very interested in doing this within the ISY programming. Does the ISY automatically updated any changes to device link tables or are my devices and ISY now out of sync?
-
Is there any way to see what group number a particular scene belongs to? I was looking at the link tables of some switches last night using Insteon Explorer and noticed duplicate links on almost every device - some of which had different on levels/ramp rates. While on the subject of viewing and editing link tables - are there any plans to implement an advanced link editor into the ISY Admin console?

Is there a reason that the setpoint defaults to 23 when there is an error?
-
I am also having a problem with my thermostat. Every once in a while, the setpoint returned for a query is 23º. The status reads out fine. There is also a third line returned from the query which I'm assuming is an error. Here are the three lines in my log: Thermostat Fri 10/17/2008 01:45:07 PM System -2 Thermostat Status 62 Fri 10/17/2008 01:45:07 PM System Log Thermostat Setpoint 23 Fri 10/17/2008 01:45:08 PM System Log On the subsequent query, the setpoint is correct. I have never seen anything weird on the stat display.

I am also having problems with notifications. I have a test program for notifications, but it is not working. Also, I tried typing TM from the telnet prompt. If I answer Send Message with a capital Y, I am echoed a message that says failed to send. If I type a lower case y, I am not echoed at all. For either case I do not receive an email. I am using default SMTP settings with ISY-99i firmware 2.6.7.
