Yeah, I forgot to mention that limitation. You can restrict the routine to certain days and time periods but not devices.
-
Before I retired I used an Alexa routine to set a variable called Night Time to 0 which in turned triggered ISY programs that set the lights on, reset the HVAC and started the coffee. The trigger is the alarm being dismissed. Here's an example of the routine I used.

Thanks. I successfully moved my last NS to PG3! Since I was coming from Polyglot V1, I just set it up scratch. Stopped the Polyglot service on my old Raspberry Pi ?

Has anyone tried the $27 Minoston MP21Z Z-Wave Plug?
DaveStLou replied to JTsao's topic in Z-Wave - Series 700
I don't use them but like many other Z-Wave devices, you can modify the LED operation and brightness. It's described under the Advanced Options section on page two of their installation manual: https://www.leviton.com/en/docs/DI-000-DZPD3-02B-W.pdf I have a different brand's plug and have a program that turns on only the LED during sleeping time when there's motion instead the lamp. It's so bright, it works like a night light. -
That's great. Let me know if I can assist in testing.

This is what it looks like in the myQ Android app on my phone. The top three and bottom one show that it was opened/closed by the wall switch (or something outside of myQ). The rest were either opened via the myQ app or via the Node server.

I'm down to only one Polyglot Node server that is not hosted under PG3: Virtual Devices created by @markv58 (not to be confused with Virtual Buttons). @bpwwer, are there plans to port it to PG3? I am still running it on a Raspberry Pi since, as far as I know it's never was ported to PG2. Below is the original thread and here's the GitHub repository. Thanks!
-
Apparently my experience was coincidental and not causal. I can confirm that I see 1 and 0 rather than True or False in the Today and Tomorrow nodes.
-
@asbril & @bpwwer, do you happen to have more than one Google Holidays Node server (either PG2 or PG3) running on Polisy? I found that if I had my old PG2 version running when I tried the PG3 version I saw errors like you're seeing. Whe I removed all of them and restarted with new token, I did get the error anymore.

FYI in Version 1.0.0 in the admin console Holidays Node server Online showing 1 and 0 instead of Connected and Disconnected. Cosmetic issue only.

@bpwwer Version 2.10.1 of the Volumio Pandora plugin added some sorting options for the Pandora stations in the UI which has also affected the query for stations in the node server. This is low priority since it's easy to roll back to previous version 2.9.2, that's what I've done. If there's anything I can assist to make the patching of the node server easier/quicker for you, let me know. From the log: 2022-04-26 07:33:52,629 Thread-1 udi_interface ERROR player:getSourceList: Failed to get Pandora stations: 'name' The plugin Version 2.10.1 is available at volumio-plugins-sources/pandora at master · truckershitch/volumio-plugins-sources · GitHub Other error showing up but I'm not noticing impact. 2022-04-26 07:34:35,127 Thread-2 udi_interface ERROR udi_interface:write: 10.42.8.18 - - [26/Apr/2022 07:34:35] "POST /volumio8 HTTP/1.1" 200 -

In order to do what @macjeff is asking for with the Holidays Google node server, I meant that each holiday would have to have its own calendar, like this: Unwieldy, like I said, but does have two advantages: Each holiday has its own node so it can be a condition for programs (day before and day of). Allows for placing the holidays on the day of choice - either legal or substitution (when it falls on a weekend). Depending on what you're trying to do, you may always want one or the other holiday. Extra bonus you can include the holidays you want. There are now 11 US Holidays now according to this site but those may or may not be days you want to include. In any case, it certainly would be difficult for @glarsen to interpret for everyone in the Timedate node server.
-
That is correct. Only work around I can think of is to create a separate Google sub calendar for each holiday that you have need of. Granted, kind of unwieldy.
-
Here are the Configuration Instructions for both: Holidays: holidays-poly/POLYGLOT_CONFIG.md at master · UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/holidays-poly · GitHub Holidays Google: holidays-google-poly/README.md at master · UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/holidays-google-poly · GitHub Both are in the PG3 store. Functionally they appear to be the same as the PG2 versions.
-
I also use it but not as much as I used to since I retired. And the answer is yes, Holiday Google is in the PG3 store. I have a Google sub calendar that I use to make adjustment in program only on certain holidays. Most of the work is in setting up the calendar. One limitation, it DOES require the "holidays" to be all day events.
-
Shows "Connected" now.
-
I just switched over to the PG3 version. All is well except for one minor item. The Controller in the AC shows Node server Online as "1" instead of "True". Is showing correctly in programs though: All I have left on PG2 are AVRemote, Ping, and Virtual (switches).
-
Well this explains it: I don't use the device volume at all. I control the amplifier it's connected to instead. Not sure when this crept in but I suspect it was on the last version upgrade of Volumio. Once I changed it, version 4.0.3 restarted without issue (4.0.4 hadn't shown up in the store yet). I refreshed the store and restarted the Node Server again and 4.0.4 also started without issue. BTW, I really like the notification and upgrade process you've implemented in PG3!

@Dogan Bora Shouldn't do anything in ISY under Node Server Configuration. The README lists the steps below to install. Is there anything showing on the PG3 Dashboard (maybe 192.168.1.78:3000/dashboard) or in the Kasa Node Server Configuration screen in the PG3? Installation This Node server will only work on a machine running on your local network, it will not work with Polyglot Cloud until TP-Link releases a public API for their cloud interface. Backup Your ISY in case of problems! Really, do the backup, please Go to the Polyglot Store in the UI and install. Open the admin console (close and re-open if you had it open) and you should see a new node 'Kasa Controller' The auto-discover should automatically run and find your devices and add them. Verify by checking the Node server log While this is running you can view the Node server log in the Polyglot UI to see what it's doing

@bpwwer I noticed today that Volumio is not reporting status correctly even though it seems to be responding to at least some commands. Hi @Michel Kohanim, I really know very little. According to this page which is similar to the handout they gave me, "Customers with an upgraded smart meter can choose from a suite of rate options including our new Off-Peak/On-Peak (TOU) rates. These rates offer the opportunity to save on your bill if you can shift your energy usage to off-peak hours." The meter is pictured below. I assume that since it's sitting in plain view on the outside of my house, the information in the picture is does not provide access to my usage. It does say it's a ZigBee certified product.

Ameren Missouri last week installed a Landis+Gyr smart electric meter at our house. While Ameren has given us nothing more than press releases touting the "exciting" new features and access that we'll have in the future, I did some cursory research and discovered some references to OpenADR protocol with these types of meters. I also found reference to OpenADR support by default beginning with version 5.0.1. References in the UD Wiki reference only ISY at this point and it is ALL new to me, so excuse the nube questions I have: How does (or will) this work? What do I need to make it work? Anything else I need to know (or what should I be asking)? Thanks!

Attempted to sync after upgrading to 0.135 but received this error. I have force closed and cleared cache but no change. Same error for both IoP 5.4.2 and ISY94i 5.3.4
