I'm running ISY version 4.8 Several times per week (sometimes per day), my Insteon thermostats turn off when they are set to heat mode. To be specific, the mode turns to off and the heat setpoint resets to 60 degrees. I do not have an ISY program (or anything) that would cause this to happen. To get around the issue, I have a program to capture this event and automatically change the mode back to heat and a heat set point to 67... but it's driving me crazy. Thoughts? Also, is there a way to capture a heat setpoint temp change (e.g. as an ISY variable), then use that variable as the thermostat's heat setpoint?

Curious how ISY users interact with devices attached to the ISY and if you're interested in controlling your ISY-enabled devices via text/SMS I will be launching a new service that allows ISY users to send text commands to query/control their ISY-enabled devices. Here's what I have: ISY994i ZWIR/Pro running 5.0.16 (both UI and firmware) 2 Insteon Motion Sensor II 3 Schlage Zwave Deadbolts 1 Zwave Siren 6 2 Switchlincs - *** I have installed these yet In order to pair the 3 zwave schlage deadbolts and the Siren 6 I held them right next to the ISY and then I moved them to the correct locations (2 deadbolts about 10-15' away from ISY, 1 deadbolt about 60' away from ISY, Siren 6 about 7' away). The Insteon motion sensor II are about 15' away from the ISY. I haven't yet install the switchlincs.

I added 3 zwave devices and 2 insteon motion sensor II devices but I'm having a difficult time getting them all to work for more than a few hours... The Insteon Motion Sensor II's are showing up with weird icon <see attachment>. I'm running the latest 5.x RC branch. isy.pdf

I have a PLM installed and a Zwave dongle. I paired 4 Zwave devices without any issues.

The MS II blinks... the ISY linking display in the admin console doesn’t show that it found anything. I have 4 zwave nodes but can’t get the motion sensor II to link. Guess I’ll try another one or a switchlinc

I held it down for 3-5 seconds and it beeped but it did not add anything to the ISY while in linking mode.

I saw a product label inside the battery compartment... had 3 sets of characters like AB:CD:EF but when I attempted to link it manually it said invalid address.

I'm setting up a new ISY... I have several Insteon Motion Sensor II devices (model #2844-222) and haven't yet installed any Insteon devices. When I click Link Management -> Start Linking and click the set button on the device, nothing happens. I tried to do a Link A Sensor -> Motion Sensor II but what would I type as the address?

Nope... there's an empty cavity area next to Port A. The only blue light is on the front side coming from the power LED.

I purchased it off Amazon... Amazon title, paperwork says ISY994iZW+/IR-PRO. I attempted to pry off back again but it appears there's a front center near power where it will not pop off. I can see the circuit board in there from the backside but nothing else. Amazon order desc: ISY994iZW+/IR-PRO Universal Devices Home...

Back has 3 screws... unscrewed them but where the 4th screw would/should be it will not allow me to pull it off all the way... not do I know what a zwave dongle would look like. When I purchased the zwave module for $1, it rebooted and it now has the Zwave menu. The menu says "Zwave dongle not responding" and "Upgrade Z-wave firmware". When I clicked upgrade zwave firmware and watch the event viewer... I see on "Cannot set global RX options", "Cannot set noise threshold for channel 0 (and channel 1)" "restarting zwave dongle"

Product: ISY 994i/IR PRO (1110) I even went through the process of purchasing a ZWAVE module but it says and when it installs it says it can't find the zwave dongle.
