  1. I haven't been home to test it yet but at least the scene tests show a success. I'll update this thread after performing the same operation on the others that are having issues and report back. Appreciate the help!
  2. I followed both of your suggestions. @stu I posted the first results I then took @Tech recommendations and restored each device then ran another scene test and here are the results: Wed 03/09/2016 02:38:00 PM : [GRP-RX ] 02 61 12 13 00 06 Wed 03/09/2016 02:38:00 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 38.35.1C 34.E8.BC 65 13 12 LTOFFRR(12) Wed 03/09/2016 02:38:00 PM : [std-Cleanup Ack] 38.35.1C-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=1, Hops Left=1 Wed 03/09/2016 02:38:01 PM : [CLEAN-UP-RPT] 02 58 06 Wed 03/09/2016 02:38:01 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 38.3B.56 34.E8.BC 65 13 12 LTOFFRR(12) Wed 03/09/2016 02:38:01 PM : [std-Cleanup Ack] 38.3B.56-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=1, Hops Left=1 <html><font color="red">----- Kitchen Can Lights Test Results -----</font></html> <html><font color="red">[succeeded]</font> Kitchen Can Light 2 (38 3B 56 1)</html> <html><font color="red">[succeeded]</font> Kitchen Can Light 1 (38 35 1C 1)</html> <html><font color="red">----- Kitchen Can Lights Test Results -----</font></html>

  4. Both switches that control the kitchen can lights are placed in a scene. When I added each dimmer to the ISY I selected that they are both controllers. When I physically toggle one switch the other physical switch responds with the same status (as noted on the physical LED lights). When I issue an ISY command, I always use the scene they belong too - not just an individual switch. The kitchen lights are just one of several Insteon status issues throughout my house, I also have single dimmers or on/off switches that do not report their status correctly.... Master bedroom fan, bathroom vent, and others. I've tried using multiple clients (both the ISY web interface & admin console, ctrlhome IOS app, etc.) as well as from multiple browsers/devices and that doesn't help which leads me to believe that the ISY doesn't know the true state. NOTE: I also have an Elk M1 Alarm Panel and approx. 50 motion sensors, a dozen door contacts, and around 15 window contacts too. I'm running the Elk ISY module. I'm triggering lights or scenes (depending if they are a multi-way switch) via programs... Specifically in the kitchen, I don't turn on the lights via the ISY but I do have a program to turn off the scene if there's no motion after x minutes. This program doesn't work either because the ISY doesn't realize the lights are on so the program never turns them off. This isn't a complete system failure because I do have a lot of areas in my home (single switches and multi-way) that are working great.
  5. So I cleared my Java cache and ensured that I'm running the same admin console (4.3.26) as the web interface but ISY still doesn't report the various Insteon statuses correctly. One of many examples are my kitchen can lights (on a multi-way switch setup using Insteon dimmers). If I turn on my kitchen can lights via the ISY interface (either web or Java-based admin console) the lights turn on and the ISY knows that they are turned on. However, if I turn the lights on from one of the physical dimmer switches the ISY doesn't recognize that they are on - unless I hit the Query button in the admin console but even then that doesn't alway work.
  6. ISY Firmware: Insteon_UD994 v.4.3.26 (2015-10-13-11:35:11) ISY UI: Insteon_UD994 v.4.2.30 (2015-04-02-09:09:20) I don't yet have any UPS or TV's hooked up - wife isn't happy and now that lights/scenes are not working properly the wife acceptance factor (WAF) is dropping fast so please help!
  7. I have approx. 100 Insteon dual-band switchlinc devices (new as of 2016). For the first week the ISY would report the correct status but now I can see there are lights on/off yet the ISY reports them wrong. Occasionally if I hit the Query button to refresh all statuses that works but only for a short time. I've also been experiencing program failures (e.g. turning of lights after x minutes) because I believe the ISY doesn't recognize what state the lights are in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I agree that the integration between ISY and MyQ would be excellent if the garage doors where exposed as nodes - but I'm new to ISY and its ecosystem (and who/how to contact). I assume the ISY API supports creating nodelinks - I'm using the Elk module which exposes my motion sensors as nodes so I know it can be done...
  9. I've been working on integrating the Liftmaster MyQ Cloud platform with the ISY994. As you know the ISY Networking module is very limited in its capabilities so I developed a platform where I can send/receive garage door statuses from MyQ and push them into an ISY (via the REST API) as variables so that I can use the ISY to perform operations - including closing/opening the doors. Would this service be valuable to a wide audience? Just trying to gauge the interest. Unfortunately it needs to run in an another environment (which costs money) but considering building this service and charging a minimal fee.
  10. I too am looking for advice. I just built a new home and have over 100 insteon light switches (dimmers and on/off) and several dozen motion sensors for lighting automation. I've been able to accomplish everything I've wanted but as my programs count continues to increase dramatically I'm thinking there has to be a better way. For instance, ever room in my house has at least one motion sensor (usually above the door to capture entry and perhaps another one in corner if the door motion isn't adequate to determine if there's occupancy. Where it's getting tricky/verbose is duplicating the same code per program... For example, if ELK zone [name] is violated and light [name] is off then turn on light [name]. I'd love to be able to create a function and pass device id so that when I want to alter the logic (e.g. based on time) I don't have to copy/paste it into all my programs. I'm a software engineer and it's driving me nuts that I have to copy/paste the same code into multiple programs.
  11. The Elk bar disappearing has happened to me before and I "believe" it only happens when my MacBook goes into sleep mode or if I've been turning off my Elk panel (or connected via ELKRP). I've never seen it disappear while actively using the ISY admin console...
  12. I own an Elk M1 and the ISY994izw. I purchased the Elk module for ISY and I've exported my lighting to the Elk. I recently purchased a home and I'm connecting all my motion sensors and automating my lighting. Initially I was planning to put all the logic in the ISY but I'm now wondering which system is better for triggering the "turn light on" event. Should that rule belong in the Elk or the ISY assuming I want the fastest response time? Both work but I'd like the fastest response time and perhaps I'm bias but it seems having the Elk trigger the light on seems a little faster but I really haven't tested my theory more than a few times.
  13. Thanks Jerlands... Apparently I wasn't holding out the set button far enough (or long enough) and after factory resetting both switches they are now independent - hooray!
  14. I have two switchlinc devices. One is a dimmer (2477D) and the other an on/off (2477S). When I push the toggle on one the other switch does the same action. I followed the steps to unlink these two devices but holding down the set button until beeps, then holding it down again until it turns red. Then walk over to the other one and hit the set button until it beeps which it does. I've also factory reset the devices by pulling the set buttons out for 10 seconds... I've removed both from the ISY and linked them in as separate units. What am I missing? NOTE: If i use the ISY admin interface to turn one on the other doesn't turn on - it's only when I use the paddle on either switch. THANKS!
  15. My bad - I tried to delete this post but apparently you can't afterwards...
  16. I have a program in the ISY994i that will turn an Insteon light switch on when the Elk M1 detects motion. I want to be able to turn off that light when no motion has been detected for 10 minutes. I've seen example online to "wait" 10 minutes but I don't want to turn the light off until there no motion for 10 minutes. Any examples would be greatly appreciated! BTW - I did purchase the Elk module so an see all events including hard wired motion sensors.
