That's certainly a possibility. There's currently a two load Outlet On/Off module. Ideally, the two load switch would have one dimmer and one relay. BTW, if you use a 6-button KPL, then the top and bottom rows could control the light and the second and third rows, the fan. Here's a 4-button KPL:

Multiple INSTEON 2334-232 Keypads for one garage door?
stusviews replied to saphotoexpress's topic in ISY994
Yes, you can do that. Tell the ISY that it made the wrong assumption, you do want the new button to be a controller. Our garage doors are controlled by several KPLs as well as a few Remotes. -
Reverse engineering is unethical. Illegal, too. From a business standpoint, I can understand not divulging everything. Don't take that to mean I don't want it all

The Inseon branded thermostat doesn't support heat pumps, but there are several Venstar thermostats that are Insteon compatible.
-
The thermostat options are documented (see #10).
-
Some devices are/used to be given an X10 address as part of the quality testing. Or you inadvertently gave the device an Insteon address--maybe you forgot. In any case, factory reset the problem device and use the ISY to restore it (right click on the device).

Some dimmable LEDs have a minimum starting point but can be dimmed from there. Actually 15% is not so bad.

Each device being tested is part of a different scene except, of course, the scene that turns them all off. Those three devices are the "canaries in the mine." The Front Off scene actually turns off 20 devices/buttons. The only purpose of the program is to illuminate the button. There are two "Front Off" scenes. One in which the Front Off button is the only controller and the other, referred to in the program as "Front Off Button," has the button, a responder, as the only member.

If you made a backup before upgrading (you did, didn't you), then try restoring the earlier version.

Here's the program I use: DR Front Off If Status 'CR / Devices / CR Ceiling Light 80' is not Off Or Status 'KT / Devices / KT Ceiling 50' is not Off Or Status 'LR / Devices / LR Ceiling Light KPL 20' is not Off Then Set Scene 'DR / Scenes / DR Front Off Button' On Else Set Scene 'DR / Scenes / DR Front Off Button' Off The DR Front Off button is in non-toggle off mode. If any one or more of the three devices is not off, then the button is lit. The button is not lit only if all three devices are turned Off.

Are you using the camera(s) wired or wireless? BTW, motion sensors are most sensitive to left and right motion, least sensitive to toward and away.

Program that turns on a Scene when other Scenes are turned on
stusviews replied to phikapjames's topic in ISY994
Some SwitchLincs are On/Off, others are dimmers. -
The thermostat options are included in the manual. The ISY supports both degree units, but no way to change between them. The KPL beep is also mention in the manual.

"It" cannot be a single device if the configuration involves a 3-way configuration. There are at least three electric boxes involved, the two 3-way switch boxes and the ceiling box. Describe the wiring in each box. BTW, "it' is a virtually useless word. OTOH, in some contexts. it makes sense. Keep it green in '15

Program that turns on a Scene when other Scenes are turned on
stusviews replied to phikapjames's topic in ISY994
Are the other three devices dimmers? If so, then try "not off" -
I'm confused. It has nothing to do with you, only the terminology. There is no such thing as a "2 way" switch. There is a configuration that's called 3-way. That means that there are switches in two locations that control the same load. They are called 3-way because each switch has three screws, two are brass and one is black. Is that the configuration you originally had? Or was the original switch a single on/off switch? On/Off switches do not have travelers, 3-way switches do.

Those have been options available from HouseLinc for years. I was surprised that the ISY didn't have such options. Also, for example, changing the Insteon thermostat to display ºC or ºF or 24 hour or 12 hour time, even more depending on the device is available from HouseLinc, but not the ISY.

Ground wires are not required for proper operation. They're a safety measure. The two green wires are probably one from the fan and one from the mounting bracket. The bare wire is from the Romex cable. How did you control the fan/light before installing the FanLinc?
-
Hops remaining include until the responder acknowledges receiving the command.
-
I usually use HouseLinc for such tasks.

You can check if a dual-band device is on the same or opposite leg of the split, single-phase electric supply by using the 4-tap or Beacon test described in most dual-band devices' Owner's Manual. A 1/2 HP garage door motor typically uses less than 5 amps.

You didn't mention a line conductor at the fan.

Or her device doesn't really work. Anyone try this one?

Info only: If the HVAC is heating or cooling, setting the fan to Auto will not turn the fan off.
