Homekit: Control Comfort Settings & Remote Sensors?
Hi, I recently learned that ecobee has disabled access to its API, and I have been reading about using the HomeKit plugin as a new workaround. I understand that the HomeKit method provides some support for Ecobee Comfort Settings, but I have a specific question about what that support includes. I realize that the primary purpose of Comfort Settings is to control temperature setpoints. However, ecobee also allows each Comfort Setting to specify which remote sensors participate. That participating-sensor functionality is the main reason I use Comfort Settings. My goal has been to use my eisy to control which ecobee remote sensors are taken into account at any given time. Since there was no direct way to enable or disable individual participating sensors from the EISY, I created several Comfort Settings, each with a different combination of included and excluded remote sensors. I could then use the eisy to select the appropriate Comfort Setting, which indirectly determined which sensors ecobee used. With the new HomeKit plugin, can I still use the eisy to switch among my existing ecobee Comfort Settings and have ecobee apply the participating-sensor configuration assigned to each setting? In other words, I am not asking only whether the HomeKit plugin supports the setpoints associated with Comfort Settings. I specifically need to know whether switching Comfort Settings through the plugin will also switch which remote sensors participate. Has anyone tested this particular functionality? Thanks

What about Thermostat 1, is that currently supported?

Devices show as online even though they are not
Hi, I am having some devices that show as being online and the online state shows as connected, while they are really offline, and show up as such in the app. The last device update in the Admin Console shows a date of more than a year ago. TIA.

Yolink Smart IR Remote
PM sent. If it's not currently possible to get the info automatically from the Yolink cloud, perhaps there could be an option to be able to input manually somewhere the remote name and button name for each corresponding digit. This would then show up as a list & sub-list in the Admin console/UDI Mobile app showing the remote name, button name, and the digit. I have no idea if it's possible, I am just throwing the idea out there. TIA.

Yolink Smart IR Remote
I indeed did the learning from the app, I am fine with that. For now I setup 5 buttons in the app, for two seperate Mini Split A/C remotes. At the time that I wrote my OP, the only thing that worked was when I pressed “Send code 0”, it sent the first button that I had setup. Entering any other digit did nothing. Now I tried it again, and using codes 0 thru 4 does seem to work. Problem is that I don’t see a way of knowing which digit to use for which button. Would you be able to have the EISY show the name of the button? P.S. After writing the above, I figured out a workaround for now, that by checking the history log in the app right after sending a digit from the EISY, I can figure out which button that digit corresponds to. But that’s obviuosly not the best solution. If possible, it would be best to have the ISY import a list of the names of the remotes, with a sub-list of each of its buttons names, and be able to select it from the ISY to press that button. TIA.

Ecobee Remote Sensor Capabilities
My question is if it can be disabled via an ISY program.

Ecobee Remote Sensor Capabilities
Thanks, this was very helpful. Do you know if you can disable/mute the built-in Alexa speaker on the Smart Thermostat Premium Plus via the ISY/Nodeserver?

Ecobee Remote Sensor Capabilities
I read up a bit the help section on Ecobee's website to become familiar with the way it works and how "comfort settings" work. So my question is, can you select & change from the ISY which comfort setting should be in effect now? Thanks

Venstar Remote Sensor Capabilities
Thanks to everyone trying to help. I am including here a link to the Ecobee Nodeserver thread, where I posted the same question about the Ecobee thermostat, so we can keep the discussion in one place. Thanks. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/42308-ecobee-remote-sensor-capabilities/?do=findComment&comment=374547
