After power loss, Thermostat does not update status

I setup a 2^nd Ecobee thermostat using the new Homekit method. Everything seems to be working fine. There is one big issue. Whenever the thermostat loses power, after it restarts, the thermostat will not send any updates to the EISY. Even though all the nodes everywhere, in the Admin Console, as well as in Polyglot will show as connected. The Ecobee app does show the status updates correctly. Doing a manual query on the thermostat node will update the correct status, but will still not update any future status updates.  Only after restarting the Ecobee node server does it start to update its status again as normal in the EISY.

 P.S. FYI, the way I am using this thermostat is, that it’s not really connected to a HVAC system. It receives power from a 24v power supply, and I am using ISY programs to control a window A/C unit, as well as a plug in heater, when the thermostat is calling for cooling or heating respectively. That’s why it’s a normal occurrence for the thermostat to lose power when I move it from place to place and plugging/unplugging it into different outlets. In addition, minor power outages is not that uncommon in my area, which would make the thermostat very unreliable, if I need to restart the node server every time after a power outage.
