Problem Backing Up ISY
Xanthos, why resource #6? Isn't that just the 6th resource created and every user's 6th resource will likely be different. Never mind, I just reread the post #1.

Noise caused by washer/dryer - How do I get past it?
A SignaLinc repeater (for x10 signals) may interfere with Insteon signalling. If removing the repeater doesn't help, then you can wire-in two X10 XPF filters, one for each opposite leg of the split, single-phase electric supply.

Switchlinc and GFCI
Some GFCI outlets cause that difficulty, others do not. I haven't had any difficulty with Leviton GFCIs. Other have indicated similar success.

Which filter are you using?

Insteon Motor Control Part 2
Dry contact is usually mention for low voltage. The Micro Modules are line voltage.

Insteon Motion Sensor setup for Garage Lights
LED lights can confuse some IR sensors.

ISY994i + Heat Pump
An advantage of using the built-in program capability is that is doesn't use any programming space (ISY memory). And the program will continue to function even if the ISY (or PLM) doesn't. An advantage of using the ISY is that you can create special occasion or scheduled programs or anything at the push of a button. I use a combination of both.

Insteon Motion Sensor setup for Garage Lights
If you set the MS to night only mode, then you may have it too close to the light. Have you tried setting the sensitivity? The MS should restart the timer whenever motion id detected. BTW, the motion sensor senses a change in temperature across horizontal zones. Left to right motion is more easily detected than vertical motion

Does Fast On/Off have to control the load?
A Fast Off or even Off will turn the load off no matter how you program the device to turn on. Fast Off and Off are, in effect, hard wired to the load. That action cannot be bypassed. The same is true with Fast On, but not On. The difference is because there is only one Off but On can be anything from 0% to 100% if it's a dimmer and 0% or 100% if it's not.

ISY994i can't find OutletLinc but Insteon Hub does
The Range Extender and the LampLinc use the same enclosure. That does not guarantee that the RF circuitry is the same. The Access Point, the older LampLinc and ApplianceLinc and the I/O Linc all use the same enclosure. So do several Smartenit devices. OTOH, I do miss the pass-through outlet on the older devices. I even added pass-throughs to Access Points.

ISY994i can't find OutletLinc but Insteon Hub does
The Access Point has been replaced with the Range Extender and there is now a dial-band outlet relay with both outlets controllable.

A new 2441TH issue
The difference between 1.67 and 2 amps is not great enough to cause that discrepancy. But a 3-wire transformer has me wondering--which winding was used and what were the two possible voltages?

Insteon Motor Control Part 2
What you use depends on the motors/actuators for the window coverings which you still haven't specified. The Micro Open/Close is used to control a reversible motor, either fully open or fully closed. There is no in-between setting.

Insteon Motor Control Part 2
guedeslez, the Micro Module is inappropriate for the actuators linked to at the beginning of the thread. But you have still not indicated those you have (one post) or are having built (a different post) or are imagining nor the intended purpose even though I've asked several times. Over & out!

PLM Replacement Issue
Unplug or disconnect power from all the sonos devices. Just turning things off is not adequate. Does that help? If so, then filters can help. If not, then there's a different source of interference.

Insteon Motor Control Part 2
What you use depends entirely on the moving mechanism and the actuators.

ISY994i + Heat Pump
Describe what you find. Include specifics about your current thermostat. It's true. The Insteon branded thermostat does not work with heat pumps. It's missing terminals (O/B) and the corresponding circuitry.

ISY994i + Heat Pump
Yes, I used them in each zone until I updated to the Insteon branded thermostat. The upgrade was exclusively for appearance. The Venstar has a host of features that the Insteon thermostat doesn't. Do you have at least 5-wire at your current thermostat?

Thermostat FAQ ?
The Insteon thermostat does not work with a heat pump, but of the Venstar T1700, T1800, T1900 thermostats will. You'll also need an Insteon thermostat adapter.
-
ISY994i + Heat Pump
The add-on for the thermostat you linked to is a Wi-Fi adapter. It is not an Insteon device. Insteon compatible Venstar heat-pump compatible thermostats are the T1700, T1800, and T1900. You will also need the Insteon thermostat adapter.
