i installed 5.xx and now see the siren is supported. I added it to ISY but I am confused by all the settings. Is there some description on how to set it up?

My test messages stopped working. When I click on test the address the test message is received but the program alerts using the same address do not. THoughts? Everything had been working fine for years. I am using default at the server

Michel, Great to hear from you. Well yesterday I found the problem with my network. I thought I would share it. At the same time I was having problems with home control network, I had a lot of static on my AM radios in the house. I wanted to see if something in the house was causing the static so I turned off each breaker in the house one by one. I found when I turned off the breaker to one of the bedrooms the static went away. It turns out a 6V power supply to my SlingBox was causing the static. I replaced the power supply and have now found my Insteon network is now working again. The power supply was putting out enough RF noise to create a serious problem with the Insteon network. It would be nice if there was a tool to see the qualilty of the Insteon network. Anyway maybe this will help others if they see a problem with their network. Take care. Ken

It seems to big a bigger problem with Keypads and Controlinc. My house is falling apart. Any fix would be appreciated

Regarding the noise it is present thoughout the house. I can see the Insteon traffic by looking at the light on a Control Linc. It looks like something is ccontinually polling the network. Therefore, when you listen to AM 790 you hear a heartbeat. Any thoughts on what could be generating the Insteon traffic?

I am unable to listen to the radio station 790 because of the Insteon noise in the house. I notice that ISY continuously generates traffic. Can I disable this?

Well you were right. I replaced the PLM and everything is working well. Too bad I had to waste your time because the Smarthome device wasnt working. Thanks for your outstanding and prompt help

I am running v79 on the PLM and no I dont see any links in the PLM

Well I did the event viewer. I dont see any of the traffic from any of my RemoteLincs. I just tried several other SwitchLincs and I dont see any traffic. Yet my timed events work fine and I can communicate to the devices. I did do a restore on the RL but no change.

I have setup a program to tun on and off some lights. The event is triggered by a button on the remotelinc. The remotelinc button is not linked to anything. The program never sees the trigger. THoughts

What are the specifications on the power supply (Voltage, Amps, Polarity)?
