  1. It sounds like the REST command is running the If clause rather than the Then clause. A False Status will run the Else when the If empty.
  2. That's right on. From Scene Beep a single command is sent and no ACK. Thu 11/20/2014 05:37:07 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 00 00 6E CF 30 00 Thu 11/20/2014 05:37:07 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 00.00.6E CF 30 00 06 BEEP (00) From a Direct Beep a single command is sent with an associated ACK received. Should not be an issue for those who have a functional Insteon network.
  3. Xathros An ISY Scene name used in a Program or invoked from Admin Console or App using ISY Scene name is a single outbound command from the PLM. No ACKs from the Responder(s). The same ISY Scene invoked from a Red node Controller below Scene name is handled by that Red node Controller as a normal Insteon Scene. A Group Broadcast message (not ACKed) followed by a Group Cleanup Direct message to each Scene Responder with the Group Cleanup Direct message ACKed by each Responder. I2CS devices have some control over the number of retries of the Group Cleanup Direct message.

    Smoke Bridge Nodes

I concur, those values are expected. The Query does not actually get sent to the Smoke Bridge but it does cause the ISY to reset that node. If you click on the Smoke node and select Group Devices the nodes will be list in node Group order, just like buttons on a KPL.

    Smoke Bridge Nodes

jmac My middle of the night post (now corrected) was WRONG. I said Smoke Alarm when I should have said Smoke Bridge. The trace looks like a button press on the smoke detector which generates a test message only. The correct action is to tap the Smoke Bridge Set button. The trace in the post just before this post is for tapping the Smoke Bridge Set button which sends 5 message including Smoke On followed by CO On. These On conditions are reset to Off by the last of the five messages. My apologies for the bad post.

jmac Are you tapping the Smoke Bridge Set button or the test button on the smoke detector? This is what the event trace should look like when tapping the Smoke Bridge Set button. Smoke Bridge Nodes

jmac Tap the Smoke Alarm Bridge Set button (do not press and hold). It will cycle through 5 nodes, turning On the Smoke and then CO nodes until the last message is received at which point Smoke and CO are set to Off. Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3 to watch the 5 node messages from the Smoke Detector.
  8. tdroney It is not that simple. The need for two programs was dictated by the Program changing the Status of one of the conditions in the If section along with having a Wait in the Then clause. A Motion Sensor driven Program might want the logic in one program. If Control 'MotionSensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'xxxxx' On Wait 5 minutes Set 'xxxxx' Off Else In this case each new motion sensed before the 5 minutes is over sets a new 5 minute period. Device 'xxxxx' turns Off after the last motion sensed. This case needs the logic in one Program. The requirements determine how the logic is implemented and how many Programs are used.
  9. Sounds like the Variable $WebControl_IP1 is an Integer rather than a State variable. Integer variables do not trigger a Program.
  10. All Programs invoked with a Run statement run independently. Logically two Programs are running independently.
  11. The Access Point was replaced by the Range Extender. Smarthome is only selling refurbished Access Points which I do not suggest to someone new. Use the 4 tap Set button test described in the device user guide to verify Range Extender and PLM are plugged into opposite 120v legs and in RF range of each other. I do not use an App so have no recommendation.
  12. The Insteon network is not coupled. Neither the OutletLinc nor ToggleLincs are Dual Band. The PLM is Dual Band so at least one Range Extender plugged into the other 120 leg from the PLM is required to get Insteon messages on both 120v legs. Also be sure PLM is NOT plugged into a noise/surge suppressing power strip and no unfiltered power strip is near PLM.
  13. I only looked at Programs, will look into Folders tonight.
  14. Teken Different then mine? See attachment
  15. All my Programs have a light Blue box. Vertical Green bar on left side, Status is True Solid Green, program is running with True Status Vertical Red bar on left side, Status is False Solid Red, program is running with False Status Small Red circle with slash in lower right corner, program is Disabled Using the Summary page, the Enabled, Activity, and Status columns provide the same information. May be other conditions that affect the program Icon but these are most common.
  16. If using a SwitchLinc check the SwitchLinc User Guide around page 10-12 (depends on SwitchLinc version) for the discussion on Local On Level "Resume Bight". The SwitchLinc can be set to two options, one is to use the last On Level (Resume Bright) or use a fixed Local On Level. Also note that the ISY Program "Adjust Scene" statement can be used to establish the Local On Level using the same time bracket. The Program uses the Adjust Scene to establish a Local On Level at 11PM and another Local On Level at 5AM. The SwitchLinc reacts to these Local On Levels without further Program involvement so the load comes on to the desired On Level without any delay related to triggering a Program.
  17. Need multiple Programs to bring it back. The 5.0.x images may have enough variable changes to reduce the number of Programs needed but that will not happen until some time in 2015.
  18. Where is the nearest Dual Band device that has front access to the Hidden Door Sensor (not through a wall of a metal box)?
  19. Need multiple Programs. Cannot have one Program do 6 different things. Program 1 If 'light' is Off Then set variable to 0 Program 2 If 'light' is => 1% And 'light' is <= 25% Then set variable to 1 Program 3 If 'light' is => 26% And 'light' is <= 50% Then set variable to 2 and so on.
  20. As soon as 'Hot Water Pump' Status changes to On and the Wait executed the If is reevaluated as False running the Else. The common approach is to split the Program into 2 programs. The Then of program 1 invokes Program 2. Program 2 contains the Then logic now in the single Program. When the Status of 'Hot Water Pump' changes and invokes the Else in Program 1 it will not affect Program 2. If Status 'Hot Water Pump' is Off And Status 'Kit Sink Light / Hot Water Kit' is Off And Control 'Kit Sink Light / Hot Water Kit' is switched On Then Run Program 2 (Then) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Program 2 If Then Set 'Hot Water Pump' On Wait 15 minutes Set 'Hot Water Pump' Off Else

    8. Sure. provide the UUID of the old and new ISY. UDI transfers modules all the time. 9. An ISY backup is backing up the configuration information; nodes, Scenes, Programs, etc. The actual ISY firmware including option modules are not part of the backup. That way an ISY backup from 4.2.18 can be restored onto 4.2.xx (future ISY level) without reverting the ISY to an earlier firmware. 10. First 3.3.10 is the last ISY firmware that will install on a 99i. The 99i is both Discontinued and past End of Life. There are several Insteon devices that cannot be used with 3.3.10, devices were released well after 99i was Discontinued. Contact UDI to see if there is a Network Module that will run on 3.3.10.
  22. Glad that gave the information. I am worried that the labels were removed.
  23. Do a Show Device Links Table on the switch. Likely the last active link in the switch will be the link from the TriggerLinc. The Compare button will show the difference and likely will be the TriggerLinc also.
  24. There looks like an issue between the Scene On to turn the KPL button On and the Beep to the SwitchLinc. The Scene On does not get an ACK from the KPL (normal) so the Scene On may not have worked. The Beep gets multiple ACKs which is not normal. "7. I need the X10 module, will it give me the full capability of the ISY Controller with all my x10 devices" All the X10 capability of the Smarthome PLM is available without the X10/A10 Module. With the X10 Module an X10 device can be defined to the ISY and the symbolic name given the X10 device used in Programs. Without the X10 Module the X10 address is used in a Program rather than the symbolic name. If X10 'A1/On (3)' is Received And X10 'A1/Off (11)' is not Received Then Send X10 'B1/On (3)' Else Send X10 'B1/Off (11)'
