  1. I need some black rocker light switches that are compatible with my hub. I purchased some Insteon switches that work great a couple of years ago, but they seem to have discontinued the black color option. I can’t find a list of switches that are compatible with the ISY994i. Can anyone give me some guidance? thanks!
  2. I didn’t receive your response. Could you resend it? Thanks! Ruth
  3. Hi Michel - Did you receive my data? Thanks!
  4. Hi Michel -- I am sending those files now.
  5. Thanks Michel - I've attached screenshots. Best, Ruth
  6. Mobilinc Pro cannot connect to my ISY994i, although it used to work perfectly. It stopped working a couple of weeks ago, I don't know of any change to my network or my phone that would have impacted this. I have an iPhone running iOS 11.2.6. BTW, my husband's copy of Mobilinc Pro has the same problem. Mobilinc says that it has automatically detected Smartlink, but the ip address that it lists is not the address of the ISY when I look at the DHCP status table on my router. Do I need to assign a static IP address to the ISY? Thanks so much for your help. Ruth
  7. Ah - got it. I had downloaded the wrong file. Once I downloaded the Administrative Console, everything returned to normal. Thanks!! Ruth
  8. I just upgraded the firmware for my ISY and downloaded the new dashboard (4.5.1 for both). The reason that I did this was because my phone could talk to the ISY using Mobilinc, but my husband's couldn't, even though they were set up exactly the same. My programs have stopped working, and although I can see the programs, embarrassingly, I cannot figure out how to view them, or how to view states or variables. I didn't have this problem with the previous version of the dashboard. I must be missing something obvious. Can someone point me to documentation? Or give me an idea of how to get started? Thanks! Ruth
  9. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. It turns out that if you want to use the Archer C7 as an access point, you must have the incoming ethernet cable plugged into a LAN port, not the WAN port. This is unlike any other router that I've worked with, but once I corrected that problem, everything else is working like clockwork. Thanks again for being such a terrific forum!
  10. I tried both of the addresses. 101 fails instantly with the message "connection is refused", and 105 takes longer to fail, but eventually times out. I have a wired router (TP-Link) in the garage that provides wired access to the house and the office. I have two wireless routers configured as access points that are connected to the router in the garage (one Asus and one TP-Link). The change that I made was to swap an old Cisco 2.4Ghz wireless router with a new TP-Link wireless router that supports both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. When I plug the old router back in and attach the hub, the blue and red error lights blink. The static IP address would be in the router, which hasn't changed. I don't have any entries in the Static Routing table. Ruth
  11. Here is an odd thing. The settings for my app, Mobilinc Pro, show the controller at 192.168.1.101, port 80. I can sync with the ISY from this app. On my husband's phone, the settings show the controller at 192.168.1.105, and it cannot sync. It times out and says: a connection failure occurred.
  12. No, I don't think I assigned a port other than 80. If I ping it, the requests time out. The controller is working, and I can access it from the app on my phone.
  13. I recently upgraded a router, which seems like it was a bad idea, because it has caused all sorts of headaches. My Admin Console can't find the controller. I can see the ISY994-EMS on my DCHP client list, but I can't figure out how to tell the Admin Console what to do next. Thanks in advance, and sorry for being such an idiot. Ruth BTW, when I type the IP address into my browser, it doesn't connect and the browser times out. Thanks again.
  14. In looking at other posts on the forum, I'm guessing that installing two Access Points (INSTEON 2992-222 Range Extender) in the main house, one on each 120v leg, would achieve the coupling. Is that correct? Thanks
  15. Sadly, no, they don't.
