I restored and then updated the breakfast light and the tables were the same but the switch still turned off the office light. Then I restored and updated the office light and that fixed the problem! However, I think I still have issues because it looks like none of my devices have matching tables. It almost seems like when I replaced my ISY, the links on the devices didn't get erased and then links from the new ISY were added? Aside from restoring and updating every device in my system (I have a couple hundred), is there a faster/easier way to sync everything?

Trying to take advantage of time over the holidays to clear up some system issues. I replaced my PLM some time ago but I think I did some things out of sequence by accident and ever since I've had some issues with insteon devices being "cross connected". For example, when I turn off my breakfast room light my office light also goes off even though there should be no connection between these two devices. This only happens if I use the breakfast room switch manually. If I use the admin console and turn the breakfast light off through the device or the scene, the office light stays on. I was clicking around and saw the device links table and isy links table. Should these be the same? See attached file that shows they are not. I've also looked at the log file when turning off the breakfast room light and I don't see any event triggered that turns off the office light - yet it goes off anyway. Any ideas or help? I have several places where devices seem to be cross connected like this.

Great work with the Connected Home integration! Devices and programs working flawlessly! Does connected home work for thermostats and if so, what is the syntax?

Does anybody have two word names working? For me, I need to fill in the spoken word in the notes screen but only single words work. Kitchen works, but Kitchen Lights or Kitchen Pendants does not.... nothing with two words. Does anyone have programs working? If so, what are they called? I get a variety of different issues depending on the program name.

Got everyting setup with ISY portal. Recognized 308 devices, but no commands working. From Amazon log "ask izzy to turn on the breakfast cans" which is correct, but Alexa's response is "Turn on which device"? Also tried "switch on" versus "turn on" and for that Alexa only hears "tell izzy to switch on" but doesn't record the device name. Of course Alexa asks "Turn on which device"? From this thread it sounds like the skill isn't getting the device name, but Alexa clearly hears it..... All my devices are in folders ie - 1st Floor Kitchen (folder), then Breakfast Cans (device). Do my devices all need to be at the root or does this somehow work? So close, yet so far away.

Still no news? Did Amazon go on Christmas holiday early??

Michel/UDI - sounds like you are getting very close to having the skill certfied by Amazon. Any ETA? Would love to play around with this over Thanksgiving! Thanks.

Thanks Barry. Hopefully the Amazon certification for UDI doesn't take that much longer. Michel told me in a different thread the cost was going to be $50 for two years. This pays for the ISY portal - there wasn't any mention of another charge for the skill but we'll see. Now if we could only get Crestron to write one...

Barry - thanks for all the great work you and the community have done on the Echo integration. I've got an extensive Insteon setup with an ISY994i and an Echo arrivng tomorrow. Other than the local network setup, dedicated PC requirement and free aspect of the community solution, do you know of any major capability differences between that and what UDI is working on (availability tbd)? IE - anything more I can "do" with the community solution? Appreciate your perspective!

Thanks Michel. Is it just the portal or is there another component for Alexa integration via the portal that is not available yet? If i purchase the portal today, can i have Alexa integration today and where are the instructions to make this work? Last - where do i buy the portal? I looked on the UDI website and didn't see it. Thx!

Michel - i read the entire thread on Echo / Hue / ISY - quite a read, about two hours! Other than the cloud hosted model versus LAN only, what are the differences between the community project from Barry and others, versus the "official" UDI integration? Is the functionality the same? What will the cost be for the UDI solution when certified? (I have an ISY994 and an entire Insteon based HA setup - climate, motion, lights, sprinkler, etc) Thanks!
