Help, simple user here. I was in ISY on Polisy, system recommended upgrade, clicked on upgrade, perform backup, now I can't find polsy on system. Any ideas would be appreciated. I do have the backup if needed? Thanks.

FYI, a few names some how got corrupted. For example, it didn't recognize "office" anymore. I cleared it, put it in again in the portal and it is OK now. Thanks for the previous response.

Odd, certain scenes are fine, others are not. Weird. I'm going to try rename from the portal.

Alexa still not responding to my commands to ISY system. I unlinked and relinked with no change. Is the system still having problems or is there something else I need to do?

If I understand, I can use the Zooz to say if level drops below 30% then turn on lights? Not worried about turning off - I use a time setting for that. Just want the sensor to run a program when light level declines. Thanks.

Thanks, I think I got it. The default Light sensor is set to 10% change, which is OK. I'm going to add it to a program that turns on lights at sunset - however, if a cloudy day, the sensor could trigger the program. Looks like I can as much with Zwave as I could with Insteon. Only thing I don't see is something equivalent to the keypad switches. Can you tell me how often the sensor sends lighting changes? Also, best outdoor Zwave lighting sensor. Trying to set up above light sensor on ISY on Polisy. Want to use it trigger a scene when it gets dark. Can't seem to figure out where it has a "trigger". Any help would be appreicated. Thanks, Andrew

Just converted my ISY to IOP and it appears to be working well. Wanted to add my Pentair pool controller to the system. I added the jsnode/pool, which I assume should communicate with the Pentair system. However, no info is transferred. Must be something or some interface I need. If any are familiar, please advise or send me in the right direction. FYI, I am using the Pentair Screenlogic brick, plugged into my network. Thanks, Andrew

After a tech support provided by Michel, it appears that I have successfully transferred my ISY to IOP. So far so good!!! Ordered a couple of Z-wave modules to see how they interface. Thanks for the great support. Good luck with obtaining the Insteon licenses! Thanks, Andrew

Got my polisy, plugged in and updated. Looks like it found my ISY, Portal and has Ring. It shows 2 nodes - Ring and ISY portal. How do I sign in to ring - did it automatically migrate? What else do I need to do at this point. Hopefully, I don't have to migrate the PLM now. I have to order a new PLM to connect to the Polisy. Thanks for any help. Andrew

Thanks for the info. So, do I just plug in polisy, start the pg3, and it will recognize my isy and then I download the ring node? Will all my ring devices show up again? Just trying to figure it out. Thanks.

NOT an expert here.... Since PGC is down for the duration, I ordered a Polisy. For the time being, I just want my new Polisy to connect with the ring servers and my existing ISY994. Currently whenever certain ring cameras detect motion, it turns on a series of Insteon lights. Is there a very simple way to do this? A quick guide would be appreciated as I have limited time till spring. Thanks for your help.

Trying to get a program to be triggered by a ring motion, which through alexa triggers a routine which triggers a program in ISY. However, it seems that programs triggered by Alexa ignore my if statements? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks.

I think you are correct. I'm turning the light on directly. I will try the scene and hopefully that will solve the issue. Thanks....

Hi, Been working with ISY for a while but I'm stumped on one thing. I have an 8 button switch on my desktop to control, lamps, overhead lights, etc on my desk. Everything seems OK except when I turn on a light via program/timer, the button doesn't light up and think it is on. I turn on the light via the timer, the button is a controller if the scene, but still doesn't light up and turn on. Any ideas of what I am missing? Thanks and happy new year. Andrew
