  1. I think the dimmer may not be the issue, I had a program to brighten the led's when a switchlinc controlling the overhead can lights was either fade up or on and when I disabled that program they are working fine. This is the progam:Kitchen Lt Fade Up - [iD 0017][Parent 0001][Not Enabled] If Control 'Kitchen Can Lts 1' is switched Fade Up Or Control 'Kitchen Can Lts 1' is switched On Then Set 'Kitchen Cab LED 1' 35% Set 'Kitchen Cab LED 2' 35% Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  2. I've got 12 ft of LED strip lights powered by a 60 watt dimmable power supply dimmed by a switchlinc. Hooked it all up yesterday and it worked great all night and the next morning it still worked fine but the administrative consul could not recognise it's status, now will stay on for 2minutes after being switched on then turns itself off at the switchlinc. I bought the power supply from Amazon and one reviewer said he was using an Insteon dimmer with no problems. Could it be the switchlinc, the reviewer was using an in-linelinc dimmer.
  3. OK, I've sorted out why lights don't turn off, with the time constraints in the program, when the lights turn on during the day they won't turn off until sunset-1 hr
  4. You are correct, I used paulbates program and the lights come on during the day, problem with using built in light sensors is that the MS's are down at the baseboard where it is dark all the time. There is no delay though so given a choice I can live with lights coming during the day. I will experiment with adjusting sensitivity on the light sensors but it is pretty dark down there. Also, the lights aren't turning off after 1 minute
  5. I have 2 motion sensors on either side of the bed at the baseboard that control LED strips around the perimeter of the bed. I have a simple program to control it now: .Master Bed LED - [iD 0011][Parent 0001] If From Sunset - 1 hour To Sunrise + 31 minutes (next day) And Control 'Master Bed Sensor 1' is switched On Or Control 'Master Bed Sensor 2' is switched On Then Set Scene 'Master Bed LED' On Wait 1 minute Set Scene 'Master Bed LED' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') The scene has only the lamplinc the led's are plugged into in it and there is a delay, I'm assuming because the MS's are not in the scene. Can I have both MS's in the scene as controllers?
  6. These halogen bulbs aren't low voltage, it's interesting you say the non dimming togglelinc has a Fast On, the option is there on the bottom of the ISY screen but it didn't work with the program either through ISY or manually double tapping the toggle but when I put a dimming switchlinc in it's place it worked fine.
  7. Will a non dimmable halogen bulb still dim? Otherwise they must be dimmable as they seem to work fine.
  8. Thanks for that, the togglelinc is non dimming so doesn't have fast on but I replaced it with dimming switchlinc and works fine.
  9. I have a togglelinc controlling back deck floods and side yard floods controlled by a switchlinc. What I would like is to have the option of controlling the side yard floods with the togglelinc. Thinking something like toggle up once for back deck floods, toggle up twice to turn on side yard floods also. Is it possible to make a program to do that? Thanks in advance, these forums have been a lifesaver in getting my system going and debugged.
