I was about to buy a couple of the new Insteon sensor today until I saw they're not yet compatible with my ISY... I use my motion sensors with my ISY to adjust variables, which then trigger certain events. Would the following work as a workaround?: 1) Set new Insteon Motion Sensor to turn on Button C (currently unused) on an Insteon keypad. 2) Through ISY: -- If Button C is On -- Then set Variable to 2 Would my ISY detect that Button C was just turned on? If not, any suggestions?

I'm in the market for a new thermostat and am looking to do exactly what the OP wanted to do with the Insteon portable thermostat(s), which is to program through ISY that one is a Master at some times (day, for example) and another is Master at other times (evening, for example). Are there other thermostats that integrate with ISY that do this? Preferably Zwave (I have the 994iZW) though any would be fine.
