  1. I got an answer from Universal devices, and they said that in order to run that version of polyglot, will requires our latest OS 14.x which will be release by the end of the week. hopefully when it comes out, we will be able to run and install 3.2.27
  2. Any further info on your testing with them off?
  3. When batteries are off did you see a difference?
  4. Have you made any progress on this issue?
  5. Also opened a ticket.
  6. Btw. How come you have a version so far ahead of me? Don’t understand why I have not seem updates since I’m sure others are using your node.
  7. Christian ok I’ll check tomorrow by updating packages and rebooting again and will also check with universal devices on why it isn’t upgrading
  8. Christian I’ve tried to reboot and mine is still at the same number 3.2.27 I’ve tried the update packages twice and rebooted twice now i also deleted the teslapp app in case that’s holding it up the forum doesn’t show any update to this as well
  9. Christian I’m not sure I understand exactly what you’re saying. I see that the app you wrote is at 1.26 and polygon is at 3.2.27. what exactly is 3.3.16 What exactly are you telling me to do? sorry for being so obtuse.
  10. Thanks for the quick response in my inbox. How will I know when to update it
  11. PM sent with Log
  12. I guess I’m being an obtuse and not understanding how to set the note server to see my Tesla power wall three. I’ve plugged in my email and password ID and I don’t see anything appearing within my network. (Note removed password for pic) if someone could give me some detailed help on how I should fill in this profile so I can get it to work properly please let me know. I’ve deleted my email for login for this picture and I know the local ip address which is 192.168.0.32
  13. I do not have a span panel, but I can attest. I have seen at least one inteaon dimmer switch blink red for 10 or 15 seconds. This never seemed to have happened before the install with power wall three. Again, I’ve mentioned my original post that most of my house lights are LED. I do have a few Encanto bulbs on dimmer switches, but I have noticed that they also blink on occasion as well. I would call it more of a short duration pulse. Almost all of my switches are dual switches, which can communicate either rf or powerline The installer has been trying to figure it out, but so far no success. Because it happens almost everywhere in the house, it’s not like I can put a filter on an outlet and it goes away in one spot. I don’t know if the problem is frequency related or powerline pike related. Almost all of my dimmers are Insteon 2477D again, any suggestions on what to tell either the Tesla or the installer would be greatly appreciated.
  14. True. But not sure why this happens
  15. I’ve seen that Eisy not found on computer after powerfail in home but moble ud seems fine. in order to find in for admin use on computer I have to reboot eisy after power in back on and moble ud sees it for iOS finder to see it. is there something else I can do to eliminate the need to have to reboot eisy after power is restored and system is running?
  16. I’ve been running on for years with no issues and over the past year converted over eisy also with no problems. I recently had solar installed on the house and two Tesla power wall 3s. Since doing that, I’ve noticed an occasional pulse of my nights which happens every 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes. I will also state when I do a query on a light switch. It takes slightly longer for the query to perform. I do see this pulse effect with both led and in condition, light bulbs, running on Insteon switches all switches are dual band. My plm is also a dual band one and many years old if that has any bearing on the problem i’ve had the solar installer trying to isolate the problem with no results so far. I suspect there may be some noise generated on the line introduced by the power walls. Also don’t know of a particular whole house noise filter to be installed in the panel, that would help if that’s the case as I don’t have a a oscilloscope to put on the line to actually look at the waveform and power of that would help. Is there a recommended whole house filter which would possibly help? also, if there’s some software setting that can be done to the Tesla power wall to make this issue go away? My question is has anyone else seeing this issue after converting their house to solar with power walls? Has anyone come up with any solutions or fixes which could make this problem go away. any comments that anyone can provide would be seriously helpful.
  17. Just applied this to eisy and all went well. No issues or problems. Good job UDI!
  18. I have been using Ohmconnect for a while now and in the past there was a link in Ohmconnect to get a true / false read to automatically have a way to automate the system of shutting things down. That link no longer is in effect and I have to wait for Ohmconnect to send me a message and then manually select a routine to reduce power. Have anyone figured out a way to do this without user intervention?
  19. After performing upgrade packages on Etsy and rebooting the system, I went to notes servers, logged out and tried to log back in. Now it will not let me login and says authorization failure.
  20. After doing a of packages to 5.7 on eisy the Upgrade packages message is still coming up with I log in via computer. Even after unplugging the eisy, it still comes up after reboot. Also is there any quick way to know when it is time to unplug and the update is complete without going thru SSH or a min amount of time required to know when done?
  21. Hi Everyone As a additional event I have found that Nestcam is now on the Maker channel and I was able to use the Nestcam to trigger motion events within the house. The onlyh thing I did find is that Nest is not as quick to update and post as the Ring Doorbell. Average time for the event to trigger is about 2min but it DOES WORK! Follow the same directions as the Ring doorbell but instead pick Nestcam for making the event and it works well. Her is the link to the original post for Ring http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/18401-ring-doorbell-to-isy-yay/ Once again thanks Michel for creating such a great new portal integration! Enjoy! Rich
  22. Thanks to everyone for the comments and hope you enjoy the use of this. I also just found out we can do the same for a Nest Camera. There is a delay from the nest servers but it can work for detecting motion and activating an event too! Just follow the same procedures as the Ring Doorbell and instead pick Nestcam! Like I said, I also found out that unlike Ring, the Nest servers seem to take a while (approx 2 mins) to process the event.
  23. Michel Absolutely! I would be honored. I am happy to contribute it to "the cause" especially after all the times you helped me thru things! Rich
  24. I wish to share the following on how to link your ISY using ISY PORTAL (like using ECHO) Now as a added backup my lights in the family room flash when the doorbell rings! If you have the ISY portal and a Ring doorbell you can have the ISY do any function for example, flask the lights in the house. Create a variable for use in the ISY for use and it will show up in ISYPORTAL in the dropdown (mine is RingDoor for example) Set up ISY portal for IFTTT use and create a ISY key for use. You will then have a link to use on IFTTT for example: https://my.isy.io/api/ifttt/RingDoor/key/<YourKEYFROMisyPORTAL> You will need to copy this key for later use) Use the variable you created in your isy and create a action to run it in ISYPORTAL. For example in my ISYPORTAL: Event name Category Resource Address Action RingDoor Variable RingDoorbellActive 8 Set value to 1 Showing 1 to 1 of 1 entries Now Log on to IFTTT and create a recipe using Ring Doorbell and Maker Create a Recipe If this then that and pick THIS Choose trigger channel and search for Ring doorbell When picked you have to log into Ring and follow the prompts. When done.... Choose a Trigger New Ding Detected This Trigger fires every time somebody rings your Ring Doorbell. OR New Motion Detected Set up a trigger for what you want (ie New Ring detected) Complete Trigger Fields New Ding Detected Which doorbell? Please select Front Door Now pick THAT Choose Action Channel and Search/pick MAKER MAKER IN MAKER, Choose an Action Make a web request Pick the web request Make a web request URL https://my.isy.io/api/ifttt/RingDoor/key/<YourKEYFROMisyPORTAL> Use the KEY from the ISY portal, plug in in the URL field. PS I found using the copy feature from ISY PORTAL works best! Choose the following in IFTTT Method Please select POST Content Type Please select application /jsonapplication Optional Body (Leave blank) now select action. Now you can write any program you wish that will do a action and then reset the variable to 0 again. I am willing to bet that if you use their new motion cameras you can also use them for events and motion around the house! Enjoy! Rich
