I've tried New Insteon Device and the Link a Remotelinc 2...I've tried factory resetting the RL2. Any ideas?

The trace indicates the RemoteLinc2 did not respond to the commands sent to it. Verify the Insteon address being used with New INSTEON Address and be sure to put the RemoteLinc2 into linking mode before clicking Ok on New INSTEON Device popup. Use the Device Type default Auto Discover. If using a 2314 Dual Band PLM move the RL2 near the PLM. Not sitting on it, within 6-8 feet of PLM. Was the RL2 fully charged before attempting to install it.

Insure 38 is not 3B and FB is not F8 on address label.

LeeG, that wasn't it, but it was close. You got me on the right track. It made me think that maybe the sticker was wrong...turns out, it is wrong. I manually linked it to a nearby dual band SwitchLinc...then checked the Device Links on that SwitchLinc from ISY Admin Console. The address is actually 1C.39.FB instead of the 1C.38.FB that is printed on the sticker.

When I tried to add it with 39 instead of 38, it worked instantly and is now working properly in the ISY. Only device I've had with misprint...I assume that's pretty rare?
