2420M Motion Sending On Trigger All The Time Even W/O Motion

Hi Guys,

 

I have had a motion detector (2420M) setup on the staircase heading into my basement. And, of course, it's properly linked to my ISY.

 

It has been working perfectly for years.... flawlessly.

 

All of a sudden, I noticed that the stair light was almost always on.

 

If I turned it off, it would turn back on again.

 

So, it seems to be like the motion detector is sending an 'on' trigger even when no motion is being detected.

 

Has anyone had this happen before? Any ideas what could cause this?

 

Could the unit have just broken... or there a setting I can adjust?

 

Here are my current settings (which I think are correct):

 

Timeout (minutes): 4
LED Brightness: 100
Darkness Sensitivity: 35
Sending Mode: Only after timeout (unchecked)
On Only Mode: On Commands Only (unchecked)
Night Mode: Always (checked)

 

Any insight is appreciated!

That is often a low battery issue. Try a fresh battery.
