hart2hart Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 I just completed PLM replace and the only device refusing to be updated is a morninglinc v.3A. When it refused to restore initally and after several attempts to write update, I did factory reset on MorningLinc (held set button 10 seconds while and after plugging in) and then selected Restore Device. May have made things worse since in thinking about it I'm guessing the original PLM link replacement "commands" are still in queue to be written. What should I do now? MCahill Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 I also just replaced my PLM, and had a hiccup with my Morninglinc. Please recall that the Morninglinc has special security (since it controls entry to your home.) You must link the device MANUALLY by pressing the set button on the device. I successfully re-established the link by selecting "Start Linking" under "Link Management" with the option to "...keep existing links." then pressing and holding the button on the Morninglinc box for 5 seconds. It gave a message that the device was already there; but afterwards it was working fine. Hope this helps!
