arw01 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 So I have 3.3.10 running on a 994i and installed a Triggerlinc v.40 tonight. It adds two nodes, and they both so ON all the time. When I added the Triggerlinc I saw on and off with the reed switch coming in range and out of range on the logs. Physically watching the Triggerlinc, the led lights when the reed comes in and out of range. I expect that each node would go off or on opposite of the other. So how can open and closed be on at the same time? Alan

A single node is used (sending On and Off commands to the single node) unless you pull the jumper on the PC board. When the jumper is pulled both nodes receive On commands Only. The TriggerLinc User Guide (page 8 in my copy) describes Multi Scene operation (jumper removed).

I will check it out, never played with the jumpers and barely noticed them when I put the single battery in there. Guess I will pull it down and check the jumper settings. So if they only ever receive on, what good are they, would the ISY react to a "control" on from them because status obviously not work.
LeeG Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 If run in Multi-Scene mode (jumper removed) a Program would react to If Control is switched On for either node. One node gets an On command when the TriggerLinc turns On and the other node gets an On when the TriggerLinc turns Off. I think most users run with the jumper On so that the first node receives On and Off commands that follow the TriggerLinc. Remember if the jumper is changed the battery has to be removed and restored for the jumper change to take affect (also in the user guide on my page .
