drw Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I have an ISY994i/firmware 4.1.0 with a wired Insteon 2441THR thermostat/rev 1.31. ( I also have a remote 2441THZ thermostat/rev1.2 linked to the ISY). I cannot successfully set mode of operation (to "program auto") from an ISY program. I seem to be able to set mode to "heat". I am using a command of the form - Set "thermo-main" mode Program Auto After executing the command, the thermostat goes to "heat" mode. Of course, I can manually move it to "program auto" mode by pressing the "mode" button on the thermostat. I have been able to modify the temperature/setpoint settings successfully.
LeeG Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 My 2441TH will react to Auto but the thermostat does not change from its current mode when Program Auto is selected.
drw Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 I believe that I have found a way around this problem by using scenes. Set up a scene containing the "thermo main". Configure it the way I want the thermostat to be set- all the settings are available. By turning the scene "on" the thermostat seems to be reliably set into the modes I want.
