Device switches on when commanded, then right back off

Recommended Posts

I have an Outdoor ApplianceLinc that switches off as soon as I turn it on.

I don't know if the module has an issue or I have a program somewhere that's turning it off as soon as it notices it on. I suspect that may be the case, as it seems to stay on longer if I turn it on from the local button (it's quite cold here, so I didn't hang around to time it).

Here's a log from turning it on from the admin console, if I'm reading it right, as soon as the device reports that it's on, the ISY is turning it off:

Thanks, I found a program normally used in summer that turns this device off when the bedroom temp is below 70; forgot that the device had a summer use (bedroom fan); in the winter it controls the heaters in our gutters.

I have 95 programs... I resorted to doing a backup of the ISY and then doing grep "14 45 3A" CONF/*.PGM to find the offending program.

I must admit, too, that it has been a long time since I had heard "grep". Was that unix?

Pretty creative.

Unix, Linux, BSD, OSX - pretty much anything that isn't Windows these days.
