mschwab Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 When I press Admin Console button in the browser, I get the "Do you want to run this app" pop up, I say Run, then I get "Error click for detail" in the browser. Clicking gives Security Exception popup "Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar:http//192.168.0.2/web/insteon.jar". Details button gives: Resource http://crl.globalsign.net/root.crl has future expires: Thu Feb 13 08:54:25 MST 2014 update check skipped. Missing Application-Name manifest attribute for: http://192.168.0.2/web/insteon.jar Java Plug-in 10.51.2.13 Using JRE version 1.7.0_51-b13 Java HotSpot Client VM User home directory = C:\Users\Owner ---------------------------------------------------- c: clear console window f: finalize objects on finalization queue g: garbage collect h: display this help message l: dump classloader list m: print memory usage o: trigger logging q: hide console r: reload policy configuration s: dump system and deployment properties t: dump thread list v: dump thread stack x: clear classloader cache 0-5: set trace level to ---------------------------------------------------- Ignore and Reload buttons don't get me anywhere. LeeG Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 There are several posts with the same issue. Move to 4.1.2 or add the ISY IP address to the Java Exclusion list.
mschwab Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 OK, added "http://192.168.0.2" to the Java network exceptions list (it wouldn't accept just "192.168.0.2"), and that got my Admin Console 4.0.5 working. Thanks! Support sent me the instructions to upgrade to 4.1.2, but that started with "start Admin Console and ...". Since wasn't able to start Admin Console, I had a catch-22! But now that I have it running, I will upgrade. And learn how to make a backup of my programs! O_O
