Wierd X10 events

Hi guys,

I started out with all X10 a year ago, and spent a few months switched to all Insteon. For xmas, I had some old x10 lamp modules I used for the candle lights and xmas tree. I found the x10 lights on when I didn't expect them, but couldn't figure out why. Today, I went exploring to find it. I found one group consisting of 3 SwitchLinc's and the button of a KeyPadLinc that would turn them on and off. Since I barely remember setting an X10 code when I first got the Insteon switches, I went and deleted the X10 codes from each switch. It still happens. So I turned off all 4 switches (pulled out the set button), and, one at a time, turned on the switch, hit on and for every one of them, the x10 lights come on. There are no programs doing this, so I have to admit I'm lost.

I did a trace by hitting one of the 4 switches, and you can see the X10 (J3) come on. I added the text at the end of a couple lines that says what light it is (easier than trying to follow the Insteon addresses).

Anyone have a clue? I guess I could do a factory reset of all 4 switches and then reprogram them, but thought I'd ask first - maybe it's obvious :)

Thanks,

Joe

Did you just push the Air Gap Switch back to its normal position or all the way in to do a factory reset?

I they are an older revision SwitchLinc relay with no Air Gap Switch there is a different factor reset.

Factory reset will clear everything out and you would have to then restore them.

If you have the Full Users manuals for the SwitchLincs and KPL. They describe how to remove the X10 addresses and not do a factory reset
