62vetteefp Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Does this unit link directly to ISY? If so what is the linking procedure? I did the start linking in the ISY and pushed the button on top but nothing happened.
LeeG Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Battery devices use New INSTEON Device. Enter the Insteon address, Name of choice, Device Type set to default Auto Discover. BEFORE clicking Ok, put Leak Sensor into linking mode by pressing Leak Sensor Set button until LED blinks continuously. Click Ok. Be sure Leak Sensor is near a Dual Band device that has good communication with the PLM.
62vetteefp Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Well unfortunately I cannot get to the link management drop down box. Since I had tried to link the 2852 by pushing the button and it sent no signal that ISY used it is stuck (before I saw the above instructions). Every time I start the console the link box (the one with 3 choices) comes up and when I x it out the link management will not give me a drop box.
62vetteefp Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Thank you for both answers. Working great.
