Jcoulter Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Came home from a trip to find my ISY not responding to any action done at the switch that would initiate a program on the ISY. Example: If I turn on any lights in my living room the ISY would realize that and turn on the "B" button on my keypad. Touching the "B" Button will turn off all lights in the living room and turn off any other buttons on the keypad that may have been turned on by other combinations of lights that may have been on. Conversely if I turn off all the lights individually the ISY turns off the "B" button. None of this is working unless I initiate the On/Off commands from the Console on my PC or from my phone app. Also none of my motion sensors, door sensors or water leak sensors are showing a status on the PC Console. Where do I start???? System has been running flawless with no comm errors with over 50 devices until this. Thanks
LeeG Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Run Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table. It sounds like the PLM has lost some or all of its link database. The corrective action is to run File | Restore Modem (PLM). Be sure NOT to click Delete Modem (PLM).
Jcoulter Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Lee, Thank you. When I got home last night I followed your instructions and all is back to normal. My son informed me that while I was away we had a power failure and I am assuming that may have caused the problem. Again, Thank you
LeeG Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Glad to hear things are back to normal. Thanks for taking the time to post back the conclusion.
