chris427 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I have been running an ISY99 for about 2 years now without any issues at all. All of a sudden I am unable to login to the admin console. I tried from several computers to rule out a problem with the computer. All failed with the same error message. Everything in my home still works. Programs turn on/off lights at the scheduled times and I can control everything from my iPhone without an issue. Even the web app works fine. Its only when I try to access the Admin Console with Java that I receive an error. Below are the details related to the error. Please help! Thanks in advance. In the java loader I see... "Error. Click for Details" when clicked I get... "ClassNotFoundException" "com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class" The java console log shows... LeeG Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 "Missing Application-Name manifest attribute for: https://192.168.1.77:41443/web/insteon.jar" Java was updated to a level that is looking for a manifest file. This requirement did not exist when 3.3.10 was released. Go to Java | Security and add the ISY URL to the Exception Site List. Should upgrade to a 994i as several of the newer Insteon devices cannot be added under 3.3.10 including the latest KeypadLinc.
chris427 Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Is there going to be a fireware update? I really don't want to have to buy another unit if I don't have to. I did get this working for now.
Brian H Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Due to running out of programming space in an ISY99i. 3.3.10 will be the last firmware avilable for it. If all your modules are working correctly. No you don't have to upgrade to an ISY994i but no new model Insteon modules will be properly supported. I believe the special ISY99i to ISY994i upgrade is still on the UDI sales page.
