Strange that a program count limit would affect a device addition though. Am I missing something here?

As mentioned, it isn't the # of programs I had, it is the number of devices/scenes.

Standard has a limit of 256.   Pro has a limit of 1024.

 

There is a limit of 300 programs for a Standard, and 1000 for Pro.

 

Upgrade purchased and rebooting!

I was thinking you stated "programs" not "scenes"
