All,

Does the Jammed status work with the ISY ?.  I currently have the following program....

If

   Status 'Door Lock' is Jammed

Then

  Wait 30 seconds

  Repeat Every 5 minutes

       Send Notification to 'email"

Else

I have confirmed that the status is actually jammed but no emails from through

Thanks

Can you please change your logic to trigger something more immediate than an email? Perhaps have it increase a variable or turn on a light to test if it is working. This way we can isolate if it is an email issue or a status issue.

Mike,

The other emails seem to be working fine.  As per your request I have changed the email to turn on the office light that is next to the door.  the light then turned on, what should I be looking for in the email/notification ?

Mike,

On another note, everything was working fine last night at approx 10:00 GMT now I cannot get even the test email to work, is there anything going on with your mail server ?

Why are you not using your own ISP account or others such as a personal gmail account?

Teken,

I was using my ISP however I had a problem where a single program notification did not come through until I switched back to the default, everything was back to normal until this am.

Thanks

I would humbly suggest that you create a new personal account for the ISY in gmail. This will get you sorted out faster than waiting for UDI to figure out what is going on with their servers.

I know for me since they moved the forum over to another hosting site along with changing exchange mail servers. There have been periods where notifications have been spotty and random.

Ok, thanks I will try that

Ok, changed it back to my ISP and now it works, grrrrr..... so frustrating

Again, I would humbly suggest you create a brand new (dedicated) ISY account via gmail. This will provide two things for you as stated below.

1. Dedicated e-mail account just for the ISY so you always know mail is exclusively being sent by the controller. No worries about junk or spam hitting that account. No sorting out personal mail from those of the controller.

2. This will also let you know if there are other outside factors impacting your ability to send mail. Gmail is one of the largest e-mail providers in the world and their up time is 99.67%.

Please consider creating a new account as it will help you trouble shoot and narrow down the issues.

Teken,
