bmiller
I set up a 2473s as a timer for a Christmas tree with a string of LED lights. The lights are dimly lit when the outlet linc is off. Is this normal leakage? I have another set of LED lights on another 2473, and they are completly off, as are the outside lights on an appliance linc. Thanks for any help. Brad Link to comment
Teken
Yes, its normal and you will need to add a small load to to keep the LED's off. Link to comment
bmiller
Thanks. The other 2 sets have more lights on them, so i gather it's enough of a load to turn them off. It sure doesn't take much to light the LED's. I'll have to rig something up. Link to comment
LeeG
A small night light powered from the same location is usually enough. Link to comment
bmiller
I found an 9v AC adapter for an old Nintendo, and plugged that into the same extension cord. That was enough load to shut them off. Thanks again for the prompt response. Link to comment
