GaryK4
I purchased an Insteon outdoor HD camera. It appears to be a re-branded Foscam F18906W. It does not support motion sensing. This may be a dumb way to solve the problem but... I wrote a test dotnet program to view and record the video using an embedded VLC media player. Now, I am trying to figure out how to get the Insteon MS to communicate with my windows program. Is there and way to have the ISY send some kind of trigger to windows (Environment variable, trigger file, DB update, etc)? Email or sms notifications would be very awkward. Is there a better way to achieve this goal? Link to comment

Jimbo.Automates
There have been a lot of posts related to this for foscam. Search for set_alarm.cgi Link to comment
