eddyk Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Hello, I understand that my router assigns a IP address to ISY. If the power goes out and returns, the ISY might have a different IP address. it's either 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.101 I have a linksys router. Is there any way to "fix" the IP address for ISY? Thanks, Eddy K.
nstein Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I don't have a linksys router (at least not with the official firmware) so I can't give you instructions, but most routers have a DHCP setting to reserve an IP address for a specific device. You could also forget DHCP for ISY and telnet to isy and set a static IP address. -Nick
